Verdasco new head racquet

A huge difference is the stringing pattern. The PT965 (315 ltd) has a long tie off on the mains unless you skip the 7th main and come back through it as your last main. The 335 does not have the same feel either. I had the 335 and have a 315 ltd 16x19. The 315 does look like the others, but it is not the same mold. The drill pattern is definitely unique and can throw your tension off if you string it the normal way you'd string a 16 mains frame.

Well this frame looks like 8 mains in the throat, and the PT965 has 6, so Verdasco is going with a tighter pattern and a smaller head from the 97. Maybe he just wants more control after using the Babolat.

As i was trying to explain to FutureVerdasco in another thread tec315ltd and tgk231.3 has the same exact string pattern. Yes of course there are 8 mains in the throat BUT radical bridge is longer while 315 has part of its bridge "squeezed" by y shaped throat so string goes through that.
See below for overlay of both 315ltd and tgk231.3

Had a chance to hold/string the new retail Rev Pro yesterday, and from all of the pictures I've seen of his new frame, I believe it's a real Rev Pro (obviously customized). The throat shape looks right, and the trimmed CAP grommets are a good indicator!

Been playing with the new rev pro(heavily customized) not a bad racquet. The best way is to put lead at the throat to increase the weight without changing the balance. And also looking at Verdasco's racquet. It might actually seem like he is using a 93 square inch rev pro. They look so similar

I would be interest in his setup on the Rev Pro! Anyone know?

Wow so someone is actually using the rev pro on the tour! I know of only one other person who used it - Haase. He went back to the mid apparently.

Haase has always been a PC600 user as far as I'm aware, with a latest PJ applied. Although I think he's still using a bespoke PJ that says 'MID' on it.

@vsbabolat can confirm.

He did actually use the Rev Pro for some time, I'm sure there are some pictures of it out there. No cap grommets but a tonne of lead in the throat!

Did you see Cilic racquet upclose? Did he switch to rev pro too?

His grommets are certainly like rev pro just can't tell from this new paint job but it does look a lot like prestige rev pro
No,he didn't. I've held his racket a few days ago and it's the old one.

With old one do you mean TGK 231.3 ?
I don't know is it TGK231.3 or some other version of Radical, but it's the same racket that he's using for years. Stringer of his has something like 20of his rackets at his place,in various pj. I will ask him tomorrow is it TGK231.3 or not.,but Rev Pro is not definitely. Stringer son is working for Berdych and his rackets are also there. I took one in Graphene Instinct pj.

Thank you for clarify.
Lucky you to know and go to that place [emoji106]
If I could ask, just for my curiosity, where is this shop ?

Ps. Probably it's actually a TGK 231.3 ( I read here he played with that mould with Youtek Radical p-j ), anyway your confirmation should be appreciated [emoji6]

This firm has a few places around Europe. Graz,Ljubljana,Zagreb,Munich and probably more,I can ask that also if you're interested. I would have already put some picks, but still don't know how.

Thanks for the reply it's probably tgk231.3 than with new grommets since they now open on top like cap grommets and old tgk were more like radical

Thanks but they are already quite enough places, maybe if he has one in Italy or near (I know Marin was training in Sanremo at the Bob Brett academy some years ago, but I'm not sure now) I can go visit him [emoji16]

I have a screen grab from the forums (a while back) that suggested Verdasco's specs were: 352g, 32.5cm, 353sw
I can't find the post now though..
