    Yea Verdsaco is looking like a dangerous floater again for the AO. The guy can really play high level tennis when his head is on straight.

    The Fiasco takes out A Zverev in 4. Can he go all the way?

    I was doing a q&a with Robin Soderling last year and someone asked 'name one player that has not lived up to their potential talent wise?'

    Robin's immediate response? Can you guess :)

    ETA it was meant in a sort of complimentary way, i.e. Verdasco should be a slam winner

    If there's such a thing as "negative zero," let's go with that option.

    Haha is there such a thing?
    There is. According to Lucy and the walrus:
    Negative zero is...
    Within you, without you;
    Across the universe.

    An extra few splashes of Tabasco with my lunch today, in honor of forehando tabasco.

    Best player in history that hasn't won a slam.

    He has so many weapons, FH, serve, his BH is also pretty solid when he is on.

    For years and years I have thought about this guy and such a shame he could not live up to his big potential.

    I found out he has ADHD wich he never got treated for as a child cause there was concern about performing enhancement. This could be what has troubled him, cause tennis is so much about mental part.

    that's atleast 7 players clearly better than verdasco (atleast put in more good performances)

    but yeah, he was capable of winning a slam if he continued to play like he did in AO 09.

    I would put him a half-notch below nalbandyan or rios as best without a slam.
    Tabasco's adhd...i feel for him. But is it as as severe as whatever convoluted mess is going on in rios' little head?

    Well, in any case, vamos Fernando!
    Animo! Forehando!!

    Are you kidding? He beat Nadal at the AO a few years back. He was top 10 at one point. The real question is why he hasn't won way way more. The answer is his head.

    Ok, who would RF think is the best sans a slam?
    Jo? Sod? Le Monf? Flipper? Niko? Nalbandian? Rios? Magnus Norman? Radek the hotsteppah (tuuurn it up)?

    He could probably swing that. Doesn't like to follow up a big win with a small one.
    I think of him as Nadal Lite. Very very lite. But o got a thing for him ....

    Agreed. Me too. I, for some reason, do root for the fiasco.
    Thankful for this interesting first rd matchup (Sascha vs tabasco).

    I worked hard all day and missed a lot of today's action from RG, so i am catching it now, learning that dreddy brown played le monf today. Interesting upon interesting.
    Dustin vs gael....styles are different, but in spirit, this is like
    Baghdatis playing guga;
    Rafter playing Edberg;
    0r
    Noah against Cashy.
    Just so cool.
    Back on topic... i am still beaming about Tabasco playing so smart and avenging the recent Madrid loss to sascha zverev.

    I only saw two sets, but the tennis was delicious. I thrill to his FH. Sasha said he played he played crap, and maybe winning Rome emptied him, who knows. Nando when he's on, can bother almost anyone, for at least for two sets. Nice he can still find it at 33.

    Wish I had seen Gael vs. Dustin--yes different styles, similiar spirits. I love Le Monf.

    Man, thanks.
    I did see bits of sascha vs tabasco, which I had recorded.
    Now watching the Monf and dreddymon. So fun. Huge smiles, lots of camaraderie, and a close, stylish matchup. I am not going to ruin it for anyone. Just wated say express how both are so easy to cheer!

    Ok, back to seƱor forehando. Who is up next? Three likables: Pierre HH, then Pablo cuevas, then nissinkori? Not an easy draw, but he can do it!
