Such a great frame. I’m sure the design could be remade in 98 head size for modern tennis.
My friend who worked at Head and was involved into the production also said: Grommets are the same! Beckers Rackets had all grommets flanged because it is more resistant for permanent stringing. The retail only some grommets at the corners as Yonex did at their rackets too. After production they look like normal grommets but after they where installed a hot metal piece is pressed into the hole to flange it. It is a lot of work to do this so the retail does have it only at some grommets.the old puma are clear, the one in the head Personal are white, the one in the World champion white too but different at the inside
WHOA…. Calflex? Please tell us more . I thought I knew of every single v throated egghead shaped pumas as I’m obsessed. Never have. I heard of no claflex! Can you tell us everything about her please ?I think Puma made a few eggshaped rackets with bigger headsize.

Puma Top Pro vs Calflex Puma original mold

I think this X-Tra Power Lite from a national action site is also bigger regarding headsize, than the old Pumas.

Just stumbled into this on Ytube. You don't learn about whether you should play or not play with the Puma Becker today - although the guy who did the video seems to be a nice chap - but there are some really nice footages of Boris and his racket at the end of 1991, probably a Puma with the Estusa logo at the time.
I really enjoyed it in the end.
Ahah.Lovely. If the PCS thing still works, it means it’s just about to break.
So it's a good thing, isn't it?and which is stopping me from working...
It’s a great thing! Does anyone have any experience with the emrik puma clones ?
Becker played a prototype vilas with longer throat/neck. 80 % Graphite, 20 % FiberglasTo resume:
1. Becker never played the retail Vilas/Winner frame layup. His frame was from the beginning 50/50 Graphite/Fiberglas
2. His personal frames never had the white complete adjustable PCS. Always foamed handle with butt caps - in different colours - and alibi screw. The Pumas were made from different manufacturers over the years!
3. He played the Estusa made by Jackson Tses Sanhosun fabric - who made the 1987 Puma Super - from Adelaide 91 to Hamburg 92. How identical his personal Super was compared to his personal Estusa? We will never know. First Tournament with the Head Made was Queens 92.
I still play with Kneissl Red Star Big. I think it's about mid-plus size. I love egg-shape racquet.Such a great frame. I’m sure the design could be remade in 98 head size for modern tennis.
Did I see that correctly? Did the man in vid have a clear bumper gaurd on his puma???Just stumbled into this on Ytube.
