Very good consistency as u both don't make many errors
However you should try to play more aggressive and shorten the points.
Move into the court and do not be afraid to go for more winners
Those long points would be exhausting after a full set
That style was exactly how I played years ago but now I play moderately aggressive
Still playing a push makes u work hard
Pushing style works well at 3.5 to low 4.0
Nice video quality and some entertaining points. You can see that when you get a chance to set up on your forehand and hit it hard, the kick on it bothers even a good player like your friend, at times.

I had noticed your friend's backhand in the past but he actually has a nice forehand as well, consistent and powerful.
Ya a lot of people don't realize that those shots when hit well can be effective, my problem is if I don't catch them good they can be a weak sitter. I need to hit them solid more consistently.
I think that is all about precise footwork, the small steps can help you get into a better position to hit solid shots more often.
Both of u guys are very consistent and I am guessing it takes u a full hour to even finish a set lol
Do u play on a 4.0 team or any tourneys ??
I play in a 4.0 league in the summer, have not played indoor league tennis in the last couple of years. I have found some indoor tournaments that I may play in this winter.
Ok what state ??
Ahh ok
My sister and many of my nieces and nephews live a few miles from Cubs
Chicago is a superb downtown but I don't like the weather and it's way too expensive
They play at famous midtown

I agree with these observations. I would not play so many moonballs, and I would try to come forward and take the ball out of the air. Play more aggressive and put pressure on your opponent. Overall, looks like a fun match and good workout.Very good consistency as u both don't make many errors

Yesterday I kept on moonballing against a high school junior girl and lost 2-6, 2-6. But I got passed whenever I came to the net, so I don't know what else I could have done.
I remembered who your strokes reminded me of:
Bobby Ginepri - a little bit of a similar motion, though his elbow is a lot more tucked in on the fh, and the RH path isn't as extreme:
Tlm does not use his shoulders nearly as much which is the big difference. Both players have really great consistency, but everything in the op video is rolled in with a few exceptions. A lot of chances were passed up on both sides. This reminds me of an easy practice sessionI remembered who your strokes reminded me of:

I have noticed that on this site most players are really into attacking aggressive style tennis. But I win most of my matches by playing consistent tennis and only attacking on high % shots.
There is a difference between attacking tennis and pressure tennis. I am in the camp that you should be consistent, but not at the expense of pressure on your opponent. This is why I mentioned a "practice session" in my post above. There are so many instances where you or your buddy could have put pressure on each other if you went for a little bit more. Instead you went for consistency and prolonged the rally. Much longer than it could have been.I have noticed that on this site most players are really into attacking aggressive style tennis. I get it, that's not your game and it's unlikely that you will change. But being consistent at the expense of pressure will only take you so far and will wear you and your body down quicker in the long run.
Your right there is a fine line between being consistent and putting enough pressure on your opponent.
I have been working on being more aggressive believe it or not and continue to practice hitting more aggressive shots.
But I have won a lot of matches were I only hit a few winners and my opponent hits many more Than I do but also makes a lot more errors.
I don't think any of us should be worrying about wearing our bodies out - afterall we play for enjoyment and workout. I do love hitting a winner though - the ultimate tennis high ... I don't get the same satisfaction with my opponent missing . . .
Nothing wrong with that - you shouldn't apologize for it. You know your game and your limits. And you accurately claim the right level - that's 4.0 tennis.I have noticed that on this site most players are really into attacking aggressive style tennis.
