great stuff man. love the review
A very sad time for the Swiss faithful. We hope that our hero will be back ASAP!Right down to the knee injury?
Our 360 reviews in the past had the racquets strung and matched to the specs of @BounceHitBounceHit. Since I use a gut/poly hybrid I am too cheap to spend the money to test the racquets with my string set up. Also a lot of the racquets we have tested have been loaners from friends and/or the TW community so we have limited access. Not sure how we can get around these 2 issues. I am happy to set up the frames but not spend the money for the materials!Good work BHBH and Geoff.
Some TW test reviews comment that modifications to the test racquet would bring the stick up to their specs and make the test more enjoyable. Would it be "swiss neutral" to test the racquet with your specs (lead and strings only)? You could possibly avoid that "new car smell" sensation and give a different perspective of what the racquet can do (given your swing and game are constant). Just a thought.

If getting the same injury would mean adding to the Grand Slam total, I would take one for the team!![]()

BHBH and Geoff, Thanks for the review, and you gents looked great on the court! Can't wait to try it myself to see if it's worth its price tag, which seems to have more heft than a fully dressed RF97 is on the court.
I checked the stats on TWU and I finally understand why you found the racquet so comfortable, it has an extremely low vibration frequency despite its stiffness!
Now THAT'S a fan!!! Trust me (I speak from recent experience!) a torn meniscus is no fun!!! [emoji41]. BHBH
BHBH seems to play best with FST 95, Geoff - with PS97.
I totally agree with you. Compared to the Max 200G I was using at the time, the Pro Tour 280 felt like a cheap tin can to me. I couldn't get rid of them fast enough.
BTW, nice video reviews, BHBH and Geoff!![]()
Although these reviews have been posted in another thread @BounceHitBounceHit and I thought it might be easier to find this way as well and sharing our impressions of these two new frames from Wilson
Special thanks to @onehandbh for making the videos, professional.
While the RA is measured at one spot along the long axis of a frame, the manner in which any frame actually 'feels' in play is a different matter.I suspect the Burn 95 FST would measure quite flexible in the head, were such a measure available. I would even go so far as to say that it felt 'plush' as presented to us for review with a hybrid string set up at what seemed to be lower-mid tension.
Best, BHBH
It’s the latter - it fits the ergo inserts.@Geoff and @BounceHitBounceHit wonder if you could enlighten me..... do you remember if the burn fst racquets have a typical molded Wilson foam handle under the grip, or is it a straight graphite handle that fits the plastic ergo thingymaggys on? Thanks
