video: too much racquet head drop on forehand takeback

Both forehands are just fine as is. Could use more solidarity on stance and feet, posture also, but just fine at the 5.0 levels.
Modern forehands is all about heavy topspin, and both seem to be able to flatten it out at will. No problems there.
"they hit like girls"..... I didn't say that, but as a junior just coming out of the growth spurt, they and we didn't hit like "men" either. Once fully grown, they can hit like "men".
Kids still growing cannot hit like men. They are uncoordinated, weak, still getting used to changing bodies, muscles, bonelengths, and still adapting.
Both these guys hit GOOD.

The second guy's mechanics looks good. The first guy is missing out on free racquet head speed because his wrist and forearm are rather stiff, and you can see that he doesn't get the supination and extension that comes from having a loose, relaxed wrist and forearm. The second guy looks like he might be able to play D2 or maybe even D1 if he's a very good competitor, but he looks short so that might be an issue.

I dont really see anything wrong with it ecept for that fact that they play like girls.

exactly my point!

that throws everything off..................kinetic chain, contact point, foot work, loading, visualization etc etc etc

i think its the most critical element in the forehand

tahs why i bring this up

D1 for sure

both are top 10 U18

Have to admit that I see absolutely nothing wrong with any of them. I think they look auite good actually, and looks like they have a really good ball strike.

I´m impressed, thats my only comment
