I am looking to buy a used 2022 ezone 98 but i can't seem to visually differentiate between the 2020 and 2022 models. Can someone share some tips on what to look out for?

Thank you!! I am able to see what you mean by the raised portion. Are there any paint job clues? Often times, the angle of the pictures make it hard to identify the raised section.Yonex EZONE 98 Racquet | Tennis Warehouse

They are completely two different paint jobs, not sure why it's hard to identify.
The 2022 Ezone 98 used an all-blue paint (dark metallic blue with lighter blue graphics) theme, while the 2022 EZ98 used flat black with light blue/medium blue swirls in the graphics. Very easy to differentiate.

No worries- Yonex also added the "aqua night black" EZ98 this year that is similar to the 2022 colorway. It's the same racquet as the 2022 version, however.Thank you all. Sorry, I'm a little slow and just not used to the ezone line.
