Volkl DNX, any other reviews?

Recently I've been using the DNX o.s. and think it is a great frame for
my game. Most impressed with the volleys and access to spin. Have
not heard much about the DNX mp, so never bothered to demo.

I still switch around between the DNX o.s. and my old reliable Quantum
V 1 mp . To me the QV1 mp maneuvers better and has better control
than the DNX. Seems everything is a trade off in my Holy Grail search!

Anyone else tried the new DNX?

I demoed the DNX MP tonight with my teenage daughter (not a vary hard hitter at this stage of her development). I enjoyed the maneuverability, and the racquet had good control and a wonderful balanced, comfortable feeling in the hand. There was a nice slightly dampened feeling on impact, which I gather is a Volkl characteristic. I am a little concerned about the long term effects of the light weight and stiffness as I have a tendency to elbow soreness, but I am switching to 2H backhand with some success so I hope to ward that off. I will be receiving the PK Ki10 demo from TW tomorrow, and I look forward to comparing them.

Anyone care to weigh in on the DNX vis-a-vis arm problems?

to tell you the truth, the dnx was rather disappointing. it felt a little different from the cat v1, a little heavier. but to look at things more positively, the feel is still a good classic v1 feel.

I demoed the MP version, I was amazed how well that twean played, really close to a player but not as much weight.

It really amazed me that it played that well with so little weight and swing weight.

Good control, large sweet spot located towards the top, great great great spin, and to answer the question I think that this racquet is more elbow freindly than my prestige.

It says it is very stiff and plays like that, but something with the string bed makes it so that any possbile shock is absobed.
