Volkl PB 10 Mid - any pro use this racquet

Volkl has very little presence on the pro tour if I'm not mistaken. I use the PB10 Mids and love them, have been using Volkl for years. If I recall correctly, many pros aren't on their bandwagon because Volkl doesn't dump hundreds of millions into sponsorships and marketing.

Does anybody know if any pro uses the Volkl PB 10 Mid? Thanks for any feedback.

I have tried this racquet, and it is very nice. As mentioned above, Völkl is not putting money into player sponsorship anymore.

Tennis Warehouse sold some pro stock Völkl racquets a few years ago, including racquets that belonged to McEnroe and Stepanek. In the 1990s, I played with some Völkl (C7 Pro?) racquets that belonged to Åsa (then) Carlsson, which were really nice.

Thanks chrisngrassia and Mike. I was aware that Volkl isn't big on sponsorship money, I was just wondering if any pro used it for love of the racquet itself. Myself, I play with the PB 10 Mid and before that was a long-time user of the C10 Pro (and also played with the dark red C7 Pro which was a solid stick as well). The C8 (white with black graphics) was too light/tweener-ish and the C9 (orange-yellow Halloween candy corn-looking) was a little less stable than the C10 as well. Best

Yep, Volkl Organix 8 315. Won the French Open mixed doubles 2014 with it.

He's won two tournaments since switching to Volkl earlier this year. Not too bad!

It's amazing to see pro players who choose to play with Volkl despite receiving zero sponsorship from the company. They should black out their racquets.

This +1! Who iz they Fuji?

Haha these guys are pretty old. The last time the better one played a pro event it was 1997. Definitely no big name players, but he played a couple of years of satellites way back in the day! He loves the PB10mid. His brother also played with him back then, and also uses the PB10mid.

I need to find the right string setup. I bought two used PB 10 mids in top condition but used them very little. Prior to this, a devotee of the weighted C-9s. The C-10 is a very nice performer; I was curious about the PB 10 mids because I think a mid swings better for serves, which is my big shot.

My buddy uses his strung up with a soft-ish multi at around 52-54lbs. I've hit with it, and it plays really soft, I like it a lot!

Funny a thread should be started on the PB10 mid. I broke a string the other week and decided to use my PB10 mid again. I had forgotten how smooooth the racket was.

Kind of glad that pros don't use Volkl much, some prices other companies charge are ridiculous.
