Volkl Quantum 10 Tour Mid and a C9

I'm really trying to refrain from picking up more frames.. but this week I've delved into the sickness again.

Is this pretty much the same thing as a PB10. It has really sucky paint, and on the same day I also acquired a i.prestige mid with similar paint issues (going to repaint that one). I did however manage to get the last set of grommets that TW had in stock.

What say you on this vintage frame? Need to restring and regrip. Possibly some sort of 18 guage or 17 natty gut due to the tight pattern.

Then there is this thing.. the only Vokls I've hit with is the C10 Pro and a PB10. This one looks like a C10 with a narrower beam. Bought a C10 grommet to replace the bumper.. not sure if it will work so stand by and I will report the findings. I now have a Volkl sickness, on top of the Head, Prince and Yamaha Secret cough.

Just one important thing to note... using a C10 bumper on your Quantum 10 tour means a compatability problem (16 mains on C10 vs. 18 mains on Quantum 10 tour). So you will need to find other grommets. The Quantum 10 tour is another beast entirely than the rest of the 10 series rackets from Volkl.

Furthermore, don't worry about the sickness/ cough you developed. Yours is probably a mild case in comparison to my full blown Head/Yonex/Wilson/Prince/Yamaha/Fischer/Volkl/Dunlop/Estusa/Babolat (to name a few) disease ;-)

The Volk quantum 10 is the best hitting Volk stick ever ! Flat out the best of the crop . Hits an unreal ball the best ! The C9 is good too but the q 10 is by far better in every way . If you don’t Mind a bit stiffer then the c8 pro white one is the second best I’ve ever hit with and I don’t like stiff frames but the older c8 pro is dynamite good

I also have a feeling the Volk tr 25 may be the best of the bunch but have no way of knowing but god it looks unreal . The coolest Cold War stick ever made in my opinion . But I have no personal experience with it nor does anyone else unfortunately
