Volkl Tennis Racquets

I am a female 4.0 player and I currently use the Volkl Catapult V1 MP. I love this racquet, but unfortunately wear and tear are catching up with the racquet and I am searching for another one. I LOVE Volkls and I bought the DNX V1 thinking it was the same. . .but it for me did not live up to the hype.

Can anyone give me feedback on any substitute for the Volkl Catapult V1 MP?

Or does anyone have any good feedback for the Volkl V1 Classic or the Volkl BB11?

I would highly suggest the new Becker V1 to you. While it's not going to feel like the CatV1 and is probably a little less headlight, i think it's a better frame than the DNXV1 and is of a similar swingweight. Always best to demo before buying as you can

Go to a tennis shop, and ask inform them the same question you posted here. Ask them if they could recommend a few frames that are similar to yours, and demo them. Make you decision based on how you felt demoing each frame.

The ulterior motive behind what he is saying is that she should consider similar frames other than Volkl which are more likely to be available in a pro shop. Of course I can read his mind.

The problem is where I live not many pro shops, or pros for that matter, are not very familiar with Volkl. They all LOVE Wilson and I do not at all.

Switched from a quantum 1 to the becker v 1 and it felt very much like the older one (maybe a little ligther and lower swingweight but not much) - definately an improvement in the paintjob but that mattered little to me. My arm doesn't hurt and the racquet doesn't hurt my game. I wouldn't advise a 5.0+ players how or what racquet to hit with either but at 4.0 probably you could make a good decision including the becker v 1 in your list of racquets to demo.

If you live in the U.S. you can have Tennis-Warehouse ship you demos. You can Demo the Volkl V1 Classic, Boris Becker V1, and maybe the new Head Microgel Instinct for racquet from a different brand all for the cost of shipping.

Or if you are still want to get a new Volkl Catapult V1 you can do a search on google. I found a online retailer that still has the Catapult V1 in stock.
