Volkl V1 Classic vs V1 MP

What is the difference in playability of the V1 Classic vs the V1 MP? The Classic is one of the "go to" racquets that players with arm problems use. The specs for the racquets are similar, although in the latest iterations the Classic is slightly heavier and stiffer. I currently use the VSense V1 MP, and have used various iterations of the V1 MP and OS, including the Organix, Power Bridge, to name a few. I should point out that traditionally I added a 1/4 heat sleeve, but recently changed to Babolat VS which I prefer as the lighter weight makes the racquet more evenly balanced.

The classic v1 has that classic volkl feel..solid.. foamed filled feel..
The latest versions tend to feel hollow.. basically without feel..

I've have the V1 Classic and V1 Organix MP.
The latter is slightly more arm friendly
Also had the V1 Organix pro (99sqin). Solid frame but rather unforgiving somehow.
All of the above are harder on the arm (for me) than C10 Pro and my current goto darling, C9 Pro!

I have the V1 Organix pro (99sqin) in storage which I took out for a hit. It's sort of a strange frame imo and hard to pinpoint. Starting with the RA flex, it is listed as a 68. But it does not feel stiff like a Babolat. Also, it's not exactly flexy. And at the same time, it is quite low powered.
It looks and feel smaller than a 99.5 (100) sq in frame

I served amazing with this frame. I would not have guessed it was only 1 pt headlight! (Just like how I would not have been able to guess the high RA flex rating).
Not having a openable buttcap to insert some weight was disappointing. (How else can I make it more headlight?)

Likely my problem, but it was pretty low powered on groundstrokes

Anyone else with this frame care to share notes?

While I can't speak to the Pro, I had the Organix V1 MP and had trouble getting used to the balance. But I think I discovered the problem. I used a one half heat sleeve, which made the racquet too heavy and very head light. Now that I have the VSense, I have been experimenting and went from the sleeve to a thin OG. Amazing, it is a different racquet - love it, and definitely increased the power as was more evenly balanced. I still have the Organic and may string it up and do the aforesaid modification. Only wrinkle, I have to get grommets. As far as adding weight, put some lead tape under the grip - I think it works better than putting under the butt cap since it defuses the balance.

The v1 classic plays the best in stock form...
Sort of suprises me how well with it's lighter weight compared to the typical weight range I prefer and use..it holds up decently..
Certainly out performs most in it's class range..

I just to play the Powerbridge V1 MP for a while (coming from the normal Powerbridge 10 MP (18*20, 325 grams). It took some adjusting, but was a great racquet to hit with. Very stable for it's weight. Eventually I switched, because there was too much power compared to what I needed.

I found the V1 Classic to be very arm friendly but at the cost of no feel for the ball. You get absolutely no feedback when the ball leaves the strings so you really have to guess where your shot is going. It's like hitting the ball with a hunk of wood - no vibration, no shock, no jarring all of which is great for the elbow, wrist, shoulder etc. For me the flexible, ported Prince frames are the gold standard for joint comfort plus ball impact feedback.

the last 2 versions of the v1 mp are simply the best that can be offered at this weight class, with the Swiatek tour 290 prince being the only frame that can beat it on plow.

I'm just browsing through the volkls, why do they all seem to have such high RAs? At least for the v1, all RAs of 68, 69 across the board...

I would like to partially ratify 2nd Serve Ace's comment. While I have not played with he VCell, the VSense is one of the best racquets in this weight class. In fact, it is one of the best racquets I have ever used. To put things in perspective, and to age myself, my other favorite racquets were the Kramer with the diamonds, Dunlop Black Max, and Prince Woody. Re the VSense, there is no vibration. It does not take customization well, and the only thing I add is thin OG (I use a 5/8, with the OG it is close to a 3/4 and weighs around 11 ounces). It plays best with a full swing; best to not muscle the ball, rather let the racquet do its thing and it will perform. I should point out that quality control is great - when I bought my two racquets (can't tell them apart), the store had five available, four of which were exactly on spec, The fifth was a few grams heavier. I have tried other racquets, and liked the Wilson with the green markings which was much more powerful than the Volkl, but at the end of the day, I would rather sacrifice power than my arm.
