Warranty on Nike

I am currently using the Nike Breathe Free II's and i burned through the rubber in 3 months and now the cushioning for the shoe is exposed. I was wondering do we have a wear a hole THROUGH the cushioning or just to the cushioning to get the warranty. Please help!! thanks

Actually I had the same query. I have Nike Air Resolves. I just have 15 days left on the warranty period and the white soft inner rubber is showing. Also how long does it take to get a replacement shoe... once you mail in yours?

I sent in a pair of BF2's after about 3 months of wear. They were to the midsole which is the white spongy stuff. If you are through the rubber outsole you should have no problem getting a replacement pair. I sent mine in and within 8 days I had a brand new pair sent to me 2nd Day Air.

wow, white spongy stuff? they make it sound like you have to go through that also to get the warranty on their warranty card -.-

For an explanation of the guidelines for returning shoes, contact Nike Consumer Affairs at 1-800-344-6453. They will give you a claim number which you will need when sending in your shoes to:

i sent my breathe free's back in 5 months after i got them. you just need to be able to see a generous amount of the white spongy material.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll have to play a lot over teh next 2 weeks to expose more of the infamous white sponge! Also can you chose to get another shoe as replacement or do they just send the same one?

Same, unless they have no more of that shoe (discontinued) they will probably send you a different color.

I had a navy/white combination and they sent me a pair of carolina blue/white back. Not my color choice, but for a free pair I guess I can't complain. So I think that Dopke is right on with the return pair.
