agassi tucked in his shirt or was that just early in his career
LOL. Yes, Agassi tucked in his shirt sort-of at times when up to about 1989 though really not even much then - it usually flopped out to some degree or another. By 1989 it was usually just completely hanging out.

Agassi preferred a huge billowy shirt, and let it hang, ALTHOUGH - especially when he was young - he didn't like it floating around in the front, so you can see that at times, he had a strange habit of bunching up and gathering in his shirt at the front, right before returning, as if he was going to tuck it in, have it in a bit of a bunch ball in front of him, which instantly flopped out as soon as the point began. This is also why the 1990 neon yellow - debuting at the 1990 us open (and later a few other color variants) shirts had weird really short fronts, and slightly longer back tails.....it was apparently because agassi said he wanted a big shirt, but not have it hanging in the front.

Sampras usually tucked in a little side piece of his shirt before serving if I recall. Always came right back out.

You call this a room? This is a pigsty! I want you to straighten up this area now!

You are a disgusting slob! Stand up straight! Tuck in that shirt! Adjust that belt buckle! Tie those shoes!

Sorry...it’s what comes to mind when someone talks about tucking in your shirt.
(If you know what comes next...you’re old like me :) )
