A coach mate of mine was talking to another older coach about ps 6.0 85's and he tells us he has a few in his attic so we tell him about St. Vincent's and what to look out for. Anyhoo last night night he came to the other coach and tells him he has those racquets for him and that he can sell them go 50/50 with the money and keep one for himself. He brings down 4 6.0 85's 3 of which are St. Vincents and their all in quality nick so i had a hit today with one of them.
They've been in the attic for like 10 years he told us so the strings are crap and at god knows what tension. Most of the time i had with it was doing coaching with wee kids but i got an idea of what it's like and i'll hit with it again etc.
Serving was abit wierd actually i maybe hit 5 or 6 serves but i didn't hit ANY into the net; one or two went in but most landed about the baseline.!
I changed to SW from my usual western for hitting with this as my normal forehand was sitting right up for my opponent and my bh was just more eratic than normal.
Sorry i wasn't exactly planning a mini review, just wanted to mention i'd hit with one and thought i should say that their'll be one or two top quality st. vincents or regular ps's on **** soon
