Was this the biggest choke of Novak's career ?

This has to be the biggest humiliation of his career.
In the final of the Challenger 125 of Bad Waltersdorf. In front of his home crowd.
The 30 years old Austrian was up 6-1 4-0 against Andrea Pellegrino.
He choked and ended up losing that final 1-6 7-6 6-3.
This could have been the biggest title of his career with the Santaizi Challenger 125 of Taipei in 2019. Will poor Dennis ever bounce back?

And a reversal of the semis where he saved 5 match points spread out over several games and even saved three in a row in the tiebreak...

He actually led 6-1, 4-0 and 40/40 on Pellegrino's serve, which meant at the time he had won 20 of 24 games played, going back to the semi-final.
Not as easy to win challengers as you think...
Federer wion 1, Nadal won 2, and Djokovic won 3. They had multiple runners-up all 3 of them as well...

In other words, you just brought that up so you could say Stan was better lol.

Well, choke in the sense he had his shot with Rafa not at his best and couldn't capitalize like Fed did in 2009. Sure he won it eventually, but again never with peak Rafa playing well. Plus he would have won CYGS by beating the clay novice Stan that year, so yeah I'd call that choking.

It's only after losing USO2016 to Stan that it was cemented that Stan's peak is higher than Djokovic's. Stan just can't maintain it for long.

True, Djoker played the best tennis of his life at USO 16. The peakest peak performance.

Recently de mummified del potro making the "mental giant" cry like a baby on the first round of the 2016 Olympic games. And on his favourite surface!!

Controls are way stricter at the Olympics and it shows

LOL - OK. :)

No, not always. RG 15 Djoker was at his peak and lost to Stan, but calling USO 16 Djoker peak is a joke. He was atrocious and only made the final due to extreme luck.

Sorry but you cannot play atrociously and make a slam final at the hardest slam to do so. He maybe wasn't at his 2011 level, but again Stan was better.
