I could have done RG 15 Djokovic vs RG 21 Djokovic and RG 15 Stan vs RG 21 Nadal

Stan by a decent margin I guess? I would have rather made 2015 Federer vs 2021 Djokovic at RG poll since a certain closed stuck-up community would gospel preach about most ridiculous takes on that one as well lol...

:-D

Wawrinka wins at least two sets. Hasn’t failed to win two sets from Djokovic in a slam match since 2012. They have played seven matches in that time.

Djokovic wins between 0 and 3 sets.

I'd say Stan's a slight favorite if Novak still had to play Rafa in the SFs, but if he had some different opponent and the SF match was less taxing, I'd say Novak is slight favorite. But could go either way, either way. If Rafa was Stan's SF opponent and Stan somehow won, Novak's probably a solid favorite.

I think wawrinka 2015 would edge it in 5. Would be close but give Stan the man the edge in this one! Peak Wawrinka was arguably one of novaks toughest opponent ever and dealt most damage to him in the big matches. I do think 2021 french Djokovic might have did a bit better than 2015 french Djokovic. Although overall 2015 was much better year for Djokovic in terms of peak play and titles won I feel in the latter stages of the french he was better in 2021 than 2015.

Wawrinka easily. Djokovic was much better player in 2011-2016 than post 2020. Just like Nadal was better 10 years ago. This shouldn't even be a hot take. (I hope it isn't). The fact that they won so many slams in 2021 and 2022 is because the field is pathetic.

That's wrong in this absoluteness, because the statistics clearly show different, and there cannot just be "the whole field" being so much weaker. This is just a baseless assumption that it simply "has to be" because they allegedly became "too old to be still that good". However, from 2012-2014 Djokovic really wasn't THAT impressive (Nadal always had good and bad phases anyway, it was a permanent up and down over his whole career, at least off clay).

But it's certainly right about 2015, Djokovic's best year. If Wawrinka could beat him that impressively in 2015 itself, then he would also do so in 2021. Really, everything about Djokovic was impressive in 2015, and Wawrinka showed one of the best performances of "beating the man to beat" in tennis history.

Another quote? I think I remember it feintly but idk.
Roy Jones was coming off a bit like Graeme Souness with his ''I'm a boxer so I know everything'' comments. Larry wasn't having it. But it was all playful. Awwwww Bless ol Larry.
