Revelation was a revelation, ftw..................................need to ck, have a new MW 200G & MAX200G somewhereEven better if they can release the Mauresmo MW paintjob in 16X19 pattern.
Though I personally prefer the Revelation 200G all black glossy paintjob.
(which I already have both 100G and 200G in 18X20 patterns)
very interested but not sure how i feel about the pallets
@Dakota60
They had one a few years ago.Best PJ ever and I’d immediately buy 6
was in 2013 I think. Sadly it was before I started playing. They had one a few years ago.
Ditto. Though I sold my 100G and 200G. Too demanding for me but the pj was very sturdy.Even better if they can release the Mauresmo MW paintjob in 16X19 pattern.

The MW 200G was designed by Paul AngellI just ordered one of the 2013 ones off ****, gonna clean it up with alcohol and car paint touch up. Never hit with one before but currently using dunlop cx 200 tour 18x20. excited to try it out.
Crazy it's been 10 years already...
I must say the new Cx’s are really nice however. I’m a big fan.Crazy it's been 10 years already...
As @PaulC wrote, it would be nice if "Dunlop" formerly known as Srixon rolled out a Mauresmo racquet. Especially since the biggest companies do/did cater us with somewhat similar offerings - Wilson Pro Labs or sometime ago Dimitrovs mold, soon to be released Babolat Pure Aero Rafa, Head with PT2.0 and to be released Prestige Mid variation....
Not proud of it but when people refer to the current "Dunlops" as Dunlops and later go on about how they replace the old 200s or 300s I am slightly annoyed. The frames are rebranded Srixons for f... sake. They have nothing to do with the old Dunlops.
To me Srixon basically took over the logo and slapped it on their own products. They did not take anything from the old inventory to please diehard Dunlop fans.

Ordered some strings off **** and got fake alu power rough. ordered from a reputable dealer this time and should come in tomorrow. hoping to string it sometime this week.Love the muscle weave. Took it out this past weekend for a hit and it still felt great even with old ass Polylon from 2015 lol. Comparing the CX to the MV the CX is definitely more user friendly with a noticeably larger sweet spot. As far as feel goes the MV is only second to the Hot Melt imo
i apologize for being off topic, but fakes on that site are getting out of hand. i know a guy who ended up getting fake guitar strings off there. they are fakin' everything...smh...glad you were able to get the real stuff.Ordered some strings off **** and got fake alu power rough. ordered from a reputable dealer this time and should come in tomorrow. hoping to string it sometime this week.
Darn, just bought a Wilson BLX PS 6.1 95 w/white & red cosmetics for $20. Hope it is not a fake!i apologize for being off topic, but fakes on that site are getting out of hand. i know a guy who ended up getting fake guitar strings off there. they are fakin' everything...smh...glad you were able to get the real stuff.
I even messaged the guy to confirm they were real before buying and said not to waste his or my time because I will charge back and file a claim, being as it’s illegal to ship counterfeiting items in the US I will not be shipping it back to him for a return. Filed a claim but I have to wait til the 13th for them to step in. I was looking forward all day at work to coming home and restringing my racquet just to open up terribly fake alu power rough. ruined my day completely lol.i apologize for being off topic, but fakes on that site are getting out of hand. i know a guy who ended up getting fake guitar strings off there. they are fakin' everything...smh...glad you were able to get the real stuff.
I’ve been a fan of the rubber band for a while now. does the job of dampening just as well, only dampener that pulls strings together instead of pushing them apart, and it’s almost impossible to knock it off during play. definitely reccomend it to anyone who hasn’t tried it!That rubber band tho
haha, it’s tied below the bottom cross ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Yeah no I agree with all that, it’s just that you’ve got it going halfway up the stringbed.
I haven’t gotten to hit with mine yet but even just bouncing the ball on it in my apartment you can tell that there’s something special about this stick.Just got a MW 200G and the initial hit against a wall was great. That solid but sweet feeling you only get with weightier sticks. Mines 338g, 32.25cm balance strung, so I guess it's 320g, 31.25cm (10pt HL) unstrung? Annoyingly doesn't list full specs on the frame, but otherwise looks great. Dunlop should really bring it back, or something similar specced.

hahaha i just mean bouncing it up on the string bed and not letting it the floor or wallAnd something special about yer neighbors

Good find! Great racquet for almost nothing.I'm got one I bought at goodwill for $3 that's sitting in the back I've never hit with. I need to restring it and give it a whirl.
MW200G is overrated, imho.
Hotmelt 200G is superior in every aspect.
Disagree with the HM > MW.I wouldn’t say overrated but would agree with choosing the HM over the MV but the Revelation over both IMHO lol
I did not know that, but I do remember talking to Paul Angell about Dunlop sticks over a decade ago, and he explained me the different grades of graphite used over the years in different productions... very instructive! The MW 200G was designed by Paul Angell
I remember play testing the MW 200G when it first came out in 1999 (I believe...), and immediately loved it and bought a couple. It was my main stick with the PT 280 for 2-3 years. I sill play it from time to time and still find it great for control and touch shots. The re-issue was very good too, although a little different from the original, not the same graphite, but still very enjoyable.Just got a MW 200G and the initial hit against a wall was great. Weird how you say the MW is demanding. I find it incredibly easy to hit especially for a 95. If anything, it's too easy. I wonder if it's string-sensitive? I have a full bed of Red-Code at the moment, which feels great.Played with the original MW 200G today, and compared it to the PT630 (Austria made). Wow! My impression of these two sticks is still the same as it was 23 years ago. Both super sweet, perfect flex, great control and feel on every shot. The main differences for me are the MW has a smaller sweetspot and feels a little crisper and tighter (like playing with a smaller head, although they are the same headsize). I have always felt the MW was a little more demanding. Other than that, both are true classics, still very playable today. A treat!
I was comparing it to the PT 630. And you're right, strings and tension will make a big difference. Lower tension will enlarge the sweetspot and add power. I used to play it with a full bed of natural gut at 60 pds and it was magical, almost too much power but great feel and touch. A good poly, or multi/poly combo, is my preferred choice today.Weird how you say the MW is demanding. I find it incredibly easy to hit especially for a 95. If anything, it's too easy.
