hi guys i want to weigh new racquets but i don't know how much they weigh with the plastic on the handle and the cardboard on the head, how many grams they add?

I'd say .2 - .4 ounces. I'm basing this on nothing except what I would guess.
So if my racket is supposed to be 11.3 ounces, I'd say it would read 11.5 up to 11.7 with wrapping and plastic.
Again I'm only guessing.

IME experience add about 1 gram for the plastic wrap on the handle and about 10 grams for the cardboard on the string bed.

Keep in mind, on most racquets you can easily snap the cardboard off the stringbed , weigh the racquet, and then snap the cardboard back on a again. But if you do this, remember that you are weighing the racquet STRUNG. The UNSTRUNG weight of the frame could be anywhere from 10 to 20 grams less depending on the string used and the density of the string bed.

I have seen plastic on handle range between 1 to 3 grams
And cardboard with the elastic straps range between 10 to 19 grams..

the cardboard/header card in some brands is supposed to be about the weight of a set of strings, not a perfect science but you have an idea

Sorry to necro, but just wanted to add an additional data point in case anyone was searching.

I just took the Cardboard + elastic little cords out of a Prince ATS Textreme Tour 98 and it was 12g. The plastic on the grip was 3g for a total of 15g.
