weight on 315

i have one tecnifibre 315. i currently put lead tape at 3 and 9 going from the 7th cross from the top to the 7th cross from the bottom. idk how much it weighs but i have 2 strips on each side. if you look at the frame with string bed facing your eyes its one strip on the side of the strings closest to you, one on the side further from you. that is on both the left and right side. if i want to counter balance without lead, would adding a leather grip accomplish what i am trying to do?

Then why didn't you mention this in the thread title? People searching for information on for example the Volkl Organix 8 315 will find this thread if they only enter '315' as a search keyword, which could have been avoided....

But to answer your question, yes, adding a leather grip will counterbalance the lead in the hoop.
