So I found this Rossignol F260 in a Thrift Shop about a week ago.
After measuring it, and gleaning some additional details from a brief thread on it I found here, some of it‘s specifications are quite at odds with the F200 family that preceded it.
Weight: 315g strung (296g in previous thread)
Swing Weight: 319 (from previous thread)
RA: 52 (from previous thread)
Balance: 5 points head heavy (from previous thread)
Recommended string tension: 42-45lb
Clearly Rossignol wanted to ”modernise” its specifications with a weight reduction, and increased stiffness. But what’s the intention behind then shifting to a head heavy balance, and the low string tension recommendation? Trying to maintain decent power with a low static and swing weight? Who was this racquet aimed at?
