What’s up with all the Fed threads lately?

I’ve been busy at work ever since Wimbledon started so I haven’t had as much time to go on this forum to defend Fed from the usual suspects.

I logged in just now and it seems like one out of every 3 threads talks about Fed, and it’s not coming from Fed fans either.

Has the GOAT made permanent residence in the brains of pretty much everyone at this point, hater and fan alike? You gotta love it!

Either there are Fed threads or threads become about about Fed. The truth is that most of the “fans” of Djoko and Nadal were or still are “Anybody but Federer” fans. This is apparent as one of these guys will achieve something and the first thing the fans do is take shots at Fed.

Additionally, most of these fans know deep down inside nobody plays like Federer (they don’t watch highlights of Djokodal matches or even the matches themselves).

There are the same types of threads over and over again; not only Fed but Djoker, Rafa etc. threads are keeping the front page of TTW general discussion busy. I guess that's the most "appropriate" way to keep debates within the TTW rules/standards. Do you believe the forums are real?

Considering Federer’s stature for most of the last decade as the holder of almost all major records, I think it is a momentous occasion for his second rival to also pass him in Slam titles. It is not surprising that Djokovic’s fans are going crazy a bit as their player has been chasing Federer‘s records for more than a decade. All part of the fun of following the twists and turns of the GOAT battle over the years.

I mean I have noticed a ton of Nadal and Djokovic threads too. A ridiculous amount for all 3. I haven't noticed anymore Federer fans than those other 2, but that is just me. There is too much talk about all 3 of them, but a lot is just due to the dearth of other people to talk to these days.
