What’s up with super?

Years ago the word “like” spread like a nasty virus through the English language. Everything was like this and like that. It’s still remains like a problem, like. However, the word that is presently making trouble is “super.” That it swallowed the respectable word “very “ is the least of its crimes. The problem is everyone is super about everything. Has the equivalent explosion of the use of the word super happened in other languages? There must be some languages that don’t even have this lame word? It would be super helpful if you provided your thoughts. I’m super excited to read them. I’m also super interested in any posts originating from any peaceful country that has been landlocked due to a super hostile land grab by Chile. Any such posts would be super great.

It's super annoying when people say super.

First time I heard this abomination was Federer saying he was "super excited". He used it regularly.super often
