Big 3 era ended at wimby 2019

Fed career is finished by wimby 2019. Whatever he did afterwards was just a footnote , Micky mouse

Nole career did not start till wimby 2007. Whatever he won before was Micky mouse , a footnote
That’s a legit call. Finally, a Djoker and Fed fan can agree objectively agree on something!!

Era for tennis doesn't last 20 years, not even close. LOL

Federer's era was in 2000s, the decade that he dominated the sport like Jordan did in the 90s decade
feds era: 04-09
rafas transitions year: 10
noles 1st era: 11-RG16
muzzas half year: W16-WTF16
fedals miniera of 18 months: 17-RG18
noles 2nd era: W18-23

so only fed and nole had their own eras, fed one (04-09) and nole 2 (11-RG16 and W10-23). rafa had an interruptions season in each of those eras (08, 13 and 19) when he was slightly better (espetialy in noles era when rafa had only 770, in 2013, and 840, in 2019, points more than nole)

Rafa was also the best 2008 and 2009 until RG, when he got injured.
I wouldn’t give Murray the 2016 half a year either due to his US open performance.

So:
Fed was the best from 04-07
Rafa from 08-10
Nole from 11-16
Fed and Rafa tied 17-RG18
Nole from WC18-2023

If you look at top two players it would be:
Fedal 06-10
Djokodal 11-14
Fedovic 15
Djokoray 16
Fedal 17-RG18
Djokodal WC18-19
Djokothiem 20
Djokomed 21
Djokodal 22
Djokoraz 23
Sinneraz 24

In Rafa's transition year
Usopen had all 3 in semis and final so that tournament was big 3 era

While Murray never had even half year. Between wimby 16 and atp finals , he lost meekly to nishikori at usopen and Djokovic reached final

Only slams with big 3 all in semis

2007 Wimby
2008 AO
2008 RG
2008 USO
2009 USO
2010 USO
2011 RG
2011 USO
2012 AO
2012 RG
2019 RG
2019 Wimby

Literally only 12 slams big 3 were all in semis. The thread about sinner chances in 2000 and 2010 decade is deleted but there people claimed how ho need to beat 2 of them to win.

Not necessarily. Only 12 times they have ever been in slam semis together. Out of 80 slams

It's not like they were in semis and finals every slam.

no... we have to give to him second half of 2016. he was clearly most dominant and in great form. nole was not completely healthy and he would probably not even be in the USO final if not for all WOs and RET. muzza won 8 tournaments and played one more final. he won: W, WTF, OG, 2 masters, 3 MMs and played in one master final. he played much chasing that YE#1 and he got it in the last match of the season. even saving MP in the SF vs raonic. he probable hurt him and it posible cost him his future career but he got the highest tennis accomplishment, YE#1. think if raonic made MP in the SF of WTF, muzza could offer so much for that YE#1 but lose on the final line.

muzzas great run in second half of 2016:
ATP Finals (Indoor/Hard)

Masters 1000 Paris (Indoor/Hard)
Vienna (Indoor/Hard)
ATP Masters 1000 Shanghai (Outdoor/Hard)
Beijing (Outdoor/Hard)
Rio Olympics (Outdoor/Hard)
Wimbledon (Outdoor/Grass)
London / Queen's Club (Outdoor/Grass)

Yes but with no big 3 there it was much easier

i don't know. they were there, nole had his best season 2015 and just complet nole-slam at RG16. fed and rafa won 3 slam each in next 18 months before nole took over again. sure they were not in there best form but they were there. muzza had also W and WTF, even queens, on home ground. fed is everywhere on home ground with crowds strongly on his side. rafa is close there. and nole is the only one who was almost always playing away, against a hostile audience. another boost to his GOAThood.

No no

No no

I can't let you with straight face lie to us

Fed was gone at wimby , he faced Andy Murray freaking zero times in 2016
Rafa was gone too. They both had surgeries that year.

Nole was gone post RG. He did reach USO finals and Rogers cup.

But Rogers cup is **** show post Olympics. Popyrin won in 2024 , PCB in 2021. Nole was out of Olympics in r1. He was already on his way OUT.

Andy won in vacuum created by big 3 absence very well.

Very well but I couldn't let you lie.

just roger was not playing after W, rafa and nole played. not in there best form but they was there.

Murray deserves his number 1 but he was never ever dominant. He couldn't hack it vs nole losing badly in AO and rg finals.
yes, both in the first half of 2016.

nole was not dominant in second half of 2016. it was muzza.

that is why i said that noles first era was 11-16RG and muzzas half year W16-WTF16. it is a fact. he won 8 tournaments in 6 months. 5 out of 8 big ones (W, WTF, OG and 2 masters).

I agree and it's his era but it's pretty weak from him that only after big 3 are gone could he do this.

No such thing as the Big-3 Era.

2005-2010 is the Fedal Era. That period is mostly about those two players alone.

2011-2016 is the Djokovic-With-Many-Costars Era....the costars being (in order of billing) Nadal, Murray, Wawrinka, Federer, Cilic. It's also the Abnormal Era...the first time ever a NextGen failed to win a slam.

2017-2023...we all know what era that is.
