What a glorious weekend for tennis fans!

First up it was Vondrousova making her second singles slam final and winning her first!
She also set a record, becoming the first unseeded woman to win Wimbledon!
Congrats Marketa!

Next up it was 20 year old Alcaraz winning his second major in less than a year, upsetting the defending champion Djokovic.
Congrats Carlos!

And finally we had Hsieh Su-wei and her partner Barb Strycova win the women's doubles. It was Hsieh's second major of the year, completing the rare channel slam.

How do you know it is what most tennis fans want? It is what you wanted likely. I would have preferred to see Ons, Djokovic and Mertens win although I am happy about Carlos winning as he played better than Djokovic for long stretches of the match including in the deciding set where he hit something like 18 winners. No idea what is good for tennis or what most fans wanted.
