What are controversies in Djokovic’s career? Is it possible to list them all?

Most of it is personality. Outbursts are not uncommon though he shouldn’t put other people at risk with his racket throws/smashes. Stretching the rules with MTOs, mpmentum blunting tactics, mind games and arguments with umpire/crowd etc are not uncommon either amongst other players.

Adria Tour is prob the biggest one as he did try to brush it off.

How about his embarrassing 4 orientation heart/love gesture towards the crowd after a win.

His aggresive behaviour towards Ivanesevich making him feel uncomfortable and like a clown in front of the whole world.

And his actor performance when behind letting the hole stadium and the opponent know "I'm behind because I'm not feeling well" and then coming back in the match with no further problems. I have seen this childish behaviour so many times.

I think it's a shame for the sport that we had such a bad represent for tennis so many years.
Yes, he has unfortunately been very succesfull on the slower courts and similar kind of monotonous tennis that is played at every tournaments nowadays.
But to call him the Goat, come on.

To reach this number of slam wins would have been impossible for any player under 70, 80 and 90 court/string conditions. I'm surprised no more have this in mind when talking about slam titles, Goat etc...

Talk all **** you want about his personality. His tennis is enough to make him goat. No ******** excuse like slow courts to make your self feel better fedfan

This is not 2010s. We have the numbers as well to scream in a shouting contest

Djoker clearly has his issues. He will not go down as the most popular, most loved, most exciting, and a whole bunch of other things. He had plenty of issues and controversies on and off the court. Hence why he is a controversial figure with haters and fans. Does it detract from him in many ways? Absolutely. It likely has cost him money, relationships, fans, and maybe even some tennis matches.

But if we are talking tennis, then the conversation is over. Djoker is THE top, and will forever go down as the greatest in the books.

Now, sure, can you have other opinions about it? Yes (I think Fed is the greatest tennis player I ever saw and was the most dominant).

But guess what? It is all a moot point, because Djoker has the numbers, and it really is all that matters as time goes on.

As far as this thread goes, it was a lot, and he still did the best. Kind of crazy.
