What are some incredible tennis matches you haven't watched fully

Tbh, a lot of tennis fans talk like experts about matches they only watched 15 minutes highlights of.

I'll start with a bashing one.

I never watched the full 2008 Wimbledon Final, I watched a bunch of parts of it, but not close enough to the full match.

What bout you's

2019 Wimbledon Final as I was out of town and only following scores. I've watched some of it since(including 8-7) but not the whole thing.

Anderson-Federer Wimbledon 18. I hope Wimbledon uploads that one in full, what a comeback!
WB are too biased there, they uploaded, about 3 and a half minutes of that match. Had it been Federer, who saved the Match Points, there would be first 5 min highlights, then extended highlights, then full 5th set, then full match, and then again full match, and then full match in slow motion.

Never got around to watching much of the AO 2012 final. I have seen a decent chunk of it, but what I saw didn’t impress me enough to watch the whole thing. That brand of tennis isn’t really my cup of tea, though I can acknowledge that it was certainly a great match.

Sampras vs Agassi Wimbledon 1993, What a lousy fan the little boy version of me was. I'm more interested in playing football in the back garden and running in to check the score every now and again. Disgusting.

Plenty of others. I didn't get to see Wimbledon 2008 live from start to finish. Nadal vs Djokovic semi final infamous net moment, etc

Maybe it was the subconscious playing me up. Letting me know it would be the start (for me anyway) of pistol brutality on Agassi and there would be plenty of ONCE MORE.

But we will always have Australia. Well, Andre does. :p

I haven’t watched Wimbledon ‘19 final all the way through, just “certain” points.

The only Nadal match I missed part of was his 5-setter with Isner at the 2011 French Open.
Considering how rare 5-setters are for Rafa at Roland Garros, I feel very bad about missing that, but I accidentally fell asleep in the 2nd Set and woke up half-way through the 5th Set.
Its literally the only time I've ever fallen asleep during a Nadal match, and it was only because I lacked sleep that week.
And I never re-watch Nadal's matches, as a rule, I only watch Nadal's LIVE matches, never replays.

Did you see Andys speech though in 2012? Maybe the greatest post match speech of all time.
remember also 've watched it with folks.. and after the match was finished told them that he would come back and win it next year, lol..still don't know why i said it back then,

A lot of matches I've never fully watched, I'll probably never end up watching. That's because it's kind of boring watching tennis that isn't recent or live. You already know the result, so all sense of tension, drama or excitement is absent for me. Makes sense to stick to highlights imo.

US Open 2019.

Couldn't bare to watch Nadal lift another USO trophy without having to face Roger or Novak.

It seemed like they were playing in mud. Court was slow as hell even for Nadal.

Didn't watch all of Del Potro/Djokovic from Wimbledon 2013 SF. But I saw some of it on YouTube recently. It was terrific! Especially when Del Potro saved 2 MPs to extend the match to a 5th set. His 5 set war against Nadal at Wimbledon 2018 was incredible too.

Check out the rally at 10:50 with Del Potro saving the first of 2 MPs. Insane!

That was a great match! I saw it live outside a supermarket on a big screen in Wimbledon. I didn’t plan to watch it but got sucked into it walking by.

A lot of matches since 2016/2017ish as I have a lot less time. Before that I watched everything, like literally everything. I used to skip exams to watch some good GS QF matches.

Ive fallen asleep to some Fed Novak finals

Incredible we didn’t fall asleep watching (the insanely overrated) Agassi-Sampras Wimbledon match.8-B
Nadalsco match was damn good, but I was actually tired that day and hence fell asleep with stream going on. Though woke up somehow before final set. (Or that was you haunting and forcing me to wakeup, idk xD)
Ghosty, that was US open match, not Wimbledon which we watched during the first watch party.
Hard to imagine a match between ATGs without a break of serve. We watched it thoroughly..

Skip exams to watch matches? Wow that's some dedication right there..
I wish I could do the same in my college or school years, but didn't have mobile or laptop to begin with at that time ;)
