What are the best natural gut strings?

I will be purchasing the Head Speed Team. I love the racket, and want a string that is arm friendly as well, so I will go with natural gut. With that said, what are the best natural gut strings?

Also, what tension do you recommend getting it strung at, especially if I am looking for a softer feel and easiness on the arm? The rackets spec say a string tension of 48-57 pounds.

Best without a question is VS Touch. Best Value (In my opinion) is the KLIP Legend string. You can also try it as a hybrid with a poly, works great as a cross or a main depending on the feel and characteristics you want.

Pacific used to make a pretty good one but don't think they make it anymore and Natural gut warehouse is okay (get what you pay for)

Tension is a personal preference 55 with a poly will feel stiffer than 55 with a hybrid or 55 with a full bed of gut. I recommend staying with what you are used to first, let the string soften the bed and if you need more go down.

I would not make the 1st string job NG cuz no one knows what your game is like. Use something like NRG2 or X1 so you have some idea about what tension would work. Then the 2nd string job would be NG. If you are just exploring what may work, you could also try Forten Sweet as it is a very soft SG (in multi stiffness territory.) You don’t want to do tension trials with good NG, not at $60-75 per trial.
