What are the highest quality GS matches Federer was part of?

For example, he won 6 AOs, what's in your opinion the highest quality match he was part of in those 6 runs?

So only one match from each GS tournament. Four matches in total. They have to be from his successful runs.

Wimbledon final 2015/2019, he wanted to win those badly, was super focused and in best form....still came up short

Limiting it to just winning runs makes this quite difficult. RG & Wimbledon are simple enough to figure out, but AO/USO are a lot trickier.

Wimbledon 2019
It is "succesfull runs" not "winning runs" ...

Wimbledon final 2019 ...
I joke all the time that people only respect Federer losses, but this thread is proof.

All his wins are weak era. No one wants to talk about the times he beat Rafa or Djok because they were so young then.

We can only discuss Fed in the context of heartbreaking losses to DjokOrDal, or all his laughably weak wins over Baggy and Philopoopiss before the real competition showed up and annihilated him starting in 2008.

I am not trying to be negative on Federer - as of today he is the best player ever (GOAT) in my book ...

The point is that both Djokovic and Nadal "own" him ... the fact is that he never played bad in losses to Nadal or Djokovic ... it simply was not enough ...

As far as tennis quality is concerned, that was a poor match.

Sure, it was long. Too long, I turned it off after 2 sets.
I am not sure that you know what are you saying ...

2 sets too long, turned off after 2 sets and able to judge the "quality" after 2/5ths of the match without seeing the rest ... !?

HAHAHAHA ... !!!

Considering match as a whole (both players) in winning runs.

1. AO: Fed Nalby AO 04 QF (Fed Nadal AO 17 final 2nd)
2. RG: Fed Delpo RG 2009 SF
3. Wimbledon: Fed Nadal Wim 07 final (Fed Roddick Wim 04 final 2nd)
4. USO: Fed Agassi USO 04 QF (2nd is Fed Roddick USO 07 QF, purely quality wise this was better IMO. Roddick a little worse than Agassi, but Federer clearly better in the USO 07 QF. But since this was straights, keeping it as 2nd)

RG 2008 final. Federer was part of one of the highest quality matches on clay in history. Sadly, he was not the one performing the quality but was part of it.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Wimbledon final 2008 vs Nadal, since many regard it as one of the best matches ever...

I think it's more like Fed's wins over them are usually convincing so he doesn't really have many epic wins over them. He loses majority of close epic matches with them and it just so happens that those epic losses are his most memorable matches with them.

That's just fanboy talk.
