200 bucks are you serious? That's too easy...every racquet on TW worth hitting with is under 200...

I was just wondering, because I haven't spend more than $100 for a new frame for a while. And I thought the original question was a bit funny...

I usually see LM racquets at SA on sale for about $80 around November.
I recall one year seeing Triad racquets for $250 in the summer marked down
to $85 in the fall. And yes, I have seen adults at the club with pairs of them.
So you spend $500 on a pair of Triads and then see them on sale for a third
of the price off-season.

I never see the top-of-the-line players racqets from Wilson on sale for
more than $20. I think that it's pretty hard to find Babolet on sale. Sure,
you can buy used but there can be issues there as well. Which is why I'm
happy with my over 10-year-old racquets.

All of this new stuff intrigues me but it takes time and effort to try out all
of the racquets and then time to adjust to the racquets and the inevitible
customization work.

I dunno about anywhere else, they sell Bab's around here for ~135 + stringing. That's what I'm giving serious consideration to paying for an APC+ later today. Course, they're also on sale at the moment (after christmas sale on everything in the store) so it'll be less than that.

you know....you shouldnt laugh at people who by tennis raquets at sportchek or sportmart. The sport chek by my place already has the K-Six one tour and i believe it was only about $216 and it's crazy how fast those raquets go. My rich ass uncle bought one and he said he wanted to "learn to play tennis" and i'm like with that racquet your crazy!!! It was to advanced for him(beginner), i wanted it (5.0 player) but he was being an ass and returned it(my life sucks). So we went back to sportchek to return it and yah that was maybe 5 hours after he purchased it and the whole stock was gone! It seems that the people around here love tennis and it is summer so SPORTCHEK sells pretty good stuff for great deals.
