Just now trying to watch the Caroline Wozniacki wimbledon match, but the cable at www.tv2sport.dk just broke down - so they can't broadcast the match, which pisses me OFFFffffffff

I'm sitting with my laptop writing in this ridiculous thread, zipping a glass of Wolf Blass Gold Label Australian Red wine with my feet up on the table, trying to decide if I will go out and buy 36 cans of this Slazenger ball or 36 cans of this Slazenger ball and play with it tonight - or just keep on playing with my excellent Tecnifibre X-one balls..........

Decision.....decision..........decisions......ain't life tough for some of us.....

Yeaaah! won my match in just over an hour... didnt really play well, felt a little tight. It's amazing how hard it can be to play tournament matches, mentally, its so tough to get going and trust your strokes. My opponent was a chipper, chipped the ball low on both wings (aukwardddd), and it took me a while to get a rithm goin. It was weird, I was framing almost every backhand!
But well, pulled it off and played better once I got the first set out....

It's been along time since I've had anything with alcohol in it. Don't drink soda unless it's diet. We, (my wife and I), only drink the caffeine free kind. So...I figured we're doing good. So what's the bad news. (We drink it by the gallon.) :(

if caffeine is your worst vice, i wouldn't worry, probably could do more, couldn't we all, by not wasting so much time on the computer! i think a common theme for us all is procrastination...uh, i guess i am putting off cleaning a kitchen, just enjoying a day off from everything, watched nadal in the semis, wish the german coulda pulled out that second set, altho i love nadal, looking forward to both finals, have them tivoed, i'd hate for fed to lose his hold on this wimby final, love nadal, but hate to hear the 'end of an era' conversations if nadal takes this one, esp after the fo mess. and how amazing is it for the wms. sisters, what a family of talent, like serena tho. kid building with clay (mess), 'nuther kid playing tiger woods pga on line with x box, dad giving advice, me checking the web...cats sleeping, all is good!

Waiting for the weekend to end so that I start up doing stats for tennis matches again. & Waiting for my Mom to take me downtown to a tennis shop to demo the MG prestige pro (So annoying! She's so obsessed over not "wasting" gas because its expensive. But, she promised to take me b4 the summer ends :). Grrrr... Both will take a while. Btw, this thread is pretty dumb & worthless. Must be why posts in the "odds & ends" topic dont count toward the post count.

I am lying on my bed, drinking a beer, typing. It’s late, too late, and I should get to bed. But I am not tired enough. My girlfriend is sleeping beside me and is snoring loudly. Most nights her snoring doesn’t bother me, for I am mostly use to it, but tonight it does. I want to wake her up but can’t. She gets up early in the morning for work and would--rightfully--be upset if I disrupted her sleep. I’ll just have to deal with it.

I finished my beer and now will pour myself a glass of water. There's nothing to do. There’s nothing on television. I get 350+ channels and not one program appeals to me tonight. Oh well.

Anyway, I’m starting to get tired. I’m going to read a little bit, and then go to bed. I want to wake up at 8, eat a large breakfast consisting of eggs, pancakes and bacon, and then watch the match. I hope that it doesn’t rain in England. I hate waking up early without reward.

    -Adam :)
