What are you listening to currently?

So you're too old and fat to walk and got banned from ass fetish forum, but why must you harrass the good tennis forum people here, I don't understand at all.

There is nothing (much) sadder then someone TRYING to be funny...and failing...miserably.

You're not out of it, you just have great taste. I love Coltrane (and Hartman/Coltrane), Miles Davis, Stan Getz, Arturo Sandoval, Clifford Brown and some Charlie Parker stuff is good too.

As for music of today, I am listening to the new Justin Timberlake album (before you judge, listen to it. It's musically advanced, varied and offers a great blend of pop, hip/hop (beats), funk, fusion and some jazz. Top it off with Timberlake writing all of his own music and it's a great album), and the new offering from My Chemical Romance. I was never a fan of their music before, but this new concept album (up there with Green Day's "American Idiot) is really a great musical advance for the Alternative Rock community.

I also have Sirius satellite radio in my car, so I can hear whatever, whenever.

Clifford Brown...wow...there's another musician who just TAKES you places...

I can't judge you on the Justin Timberlake choice 'cause I don't know him...other than his infamous Super Bowl appearance with Janet Jackson...hey, they put on a good show;) You have very good, and ecclectic tastes in music!

I don't have any favorite songs...I just listen to whatever. Currently have The High Violets - On The Way, Johnny Thunders - So Alone, Alex Chilton - Big Star and Oklahoma! with Alfred Drake and the Original Broadway Cast on the disk player.

I think I'm gonna try some of that Coltrance and miles davis stuff.

But Timberlake's album was so horrible.

I wasn't that impressed at first, but trust me, that album is very, very musically advanced. His use of style variences in each and every song range from pop, r&b, hip/hop, jazz, fusion and even gospel. He sings it all, he wrote it all, and the album as a whole is as if Prince, Michael Jackson and Timberlake's first album had a baby. If you didn't like it, that's fine, but give it a few more listens, and you might find something that you like.

By the way, you can't go wrong with Coltrane or Davis, but you might want to check out Clifford Brown and Arturo Sandoval as well...Getz too if you like Bossanova.

Yeah Clifford was an artist in the highest sense of the word. It's a tradegy that he passed away so young (I think he was 27). I suppose I am a bit ecclectic, as I like pretty much everything, except country music and Techno. I am a big fan of Classical and Opera too(I had to be after traning in classical voice and opera for 6 years), as well as Rock, Hip/Hop, R&B, etc etc etc.

I like the 2nd Timberlake album but I liked the first one better. Both albums comprise of multiple collaborations with Timbaland who I read is working on tracks with Bjork. Now that's exciting news.
