What Brand of Balls have the Longest Durability in terms of Bounce and Felt?
Wilson? Penn? Dunlop? or....?

And specifically models of balls?

Dunlops hold pressure better no doubt. The felt tends to get smoother over time like Wilson, which is better than Penn which get fuzzier. Penn are the worst for holding pressure, but unfortunately those are the only ones that Costco sells cheap.

in canada costco sells Wilson US open for around $10 for 4 cans.
Are those good?

Yes, they're very good. Plus, they're easier on the arm than Dunlop Grand Prix. But, then, that's why I prefer the GPs, because I can feel them more on the stringbed.

the wilson us open balls extra duty are good for indoor tennis, but when i use them outside, they fluff up way too fast for my taste...

the best i think are penn pro atp, the felt stays tight for a long time and pressure lasts along time too...much better ball imo, but they are a little bit heavier then usopen balls...

thanks =D
how long do the wilson US open last?
I am a super beginner. I just want some good ball so i can have a good start! I am not those crazy people that destroy a ball per hour. =)

My university is build with this beautiful Rexall Centre, we host roger's cup there annually.
Too bad indoor court season is over.

Nassau balls (not that you see them about much) are the most hardwearing I have played with. Wilson US Open seem to be completely shot after a couple of sets.

Wilson US Open balls! These things last forever, and they provide the truest bounce and response to spin.

You've got to be kidding--these have the fastest wearing felt of any ball. Maybe their pressure lasts the longest, but within a set or two, it's like hitting 3 little bald rocks!

I agree, us open balls don't last very long for me, I think they're the best out of the "lighter-style" tennis balls, they have the best bounce and a nice feel to them.

Grand Prix's are definitely the longest lasting, to me they're the "heavier-style" tennis ball. Thick felt and bounces o k after it starts losing pressure.

Hmmm so you guys generally find Penn ATP balls to last pretty long? Because I've had two hitting partners (on separate occasions) tell me the contrary. They both said the balls were losing their bounce fast.

But I like them anyway cuz they're more yellow-y.

I'm a big fan of both the wilson US opens and the penn ATP balls. both last a ton longer the the regular Wilson or Penn's. They also last longer than the basic dunlops but I have not been able to try the Dunlop GP's yet.

DUNLOP Grand Prix, Slazenger Hi-Vis Wimbledon. You get what you pay for. I have been on these boards so many times explaining the difference between costco's, wal-mart's $1.79 can of balls and the ball that costs $2.75 a can. In short, more felt, better nap, more mass, result - longer rallies than the cheapo "fly-away" recreation ball. All ball manufacturers make crap balls and good balls, the difference is in the price and quality.
