What did you last eat?

garbanzo beans with rice, a tad of pumpkin and chorizo, as a soup.
Lettuce, half a boiled egg and black olives (those small, stone-less ones)

I hadn't looked up so many words in years...

My sister's making a big corned beef hash right now with lots of carrots, parsnips and garden peas - another perfect meal for a cold, miserable night. I just hope she's making enough for seconds!

I WOULD have had a nice sous vide egg by now, had my sister not taken MY passport before leaving town and refusing to return to give it back, rendering my mother unable to pick up the circulator at the post office.

Massive detour before 10-11 hours of work tomorrow and extreme hate will arise.

Beet, mushroom, spinach and brie cheese omelette with new potatoes and mustard. I am now drinking a cappuccino.

Taco Hell beefyfritosburrito
Yessss I love that thing. It's better to make them at home though. I used spanish rice, chili cheese fritos, ground beef, jalapenos, salsa con queso, refried beans and sour cream. It tasted waaaay better than the Taco Bell one, (though I like it too).

An apple with lemon juice squeezed over, a couple of health biscuits, and plain water ... after evening workout.

btw, i am very underweight but there's nothing in my house that could help me gain anything.

That's Dorian Yates' lunch after working out at his Temple Gym in Birmingham.
Haha, no way, the black olives were quite salty and Yates won't want no water retention on his ripped muscles.

p.s. i just caught r2473's series of posts a few days back and was having a laff.

Waffles with nutella and strawberries for breakfast. No ice cream or cream though - would be too much.
And of course dark roast coffee with milk no sugar.

I've just had beans on toast with lots of brown sauce and a nice hot cuppa tea. Simple but it hit the spot!
I've never understood the British obsession with tea ??? I am Indian, and i can't stand it, although everyone here drinks it day and night.

Coffee for me it is !

I agree completely. I drink tea only when I am sick. It is not a drink for a healthy people.

Just came back form dinner outside where I had some nice penne arrabiata with chorizo.

Having my third glass of some nice Chianti at the moment.

Not to be Debbie Downer, but this is one of the reasons I left facebook.

No one cares about your kids or what you ate.
You always have a choice not to open this thread then. Problem solved!

Not sure what your issue is?

Good suggestion. Well done. Issue solved.

But, tahoetennis ...
Warm welcome.

You have every right to make fun of this thread, and the narcissism of sharing the mundane.

I cruise by this thread because I like learning what people say they say they eat, and how they prepare it. But as a happy non-facebooker and non-twitterer, I completely understand your POAST...

...which rhymes with BOAST...
which reminds me of the shirt i wore
while eating last night's dinner, which included ROAST cauliflower.

Love when my wife tops it with chopped garlic and finishes it off in the broiler. The whole house still smells great and i am ready for an early brekkie.

Ok, now that i have made tahoetennis's ignore list....

Haaha, kidding, i love your part of the world. Not just your mountains and that incredible blue lake of yours, but i actually like high-altitude tennis.

Ok, have a great morning!

I just ate rice and sardines. Poured the tomato sauce from the sardines over the rice. Also had a protein shake w water and milk. Still kinda hungry...

That is the reason for all the downloading time you spend in the toilet. Coffee induces stools. Tea is relaxing.

I prefer the masala chai. Nowadays it is available in packets with its own milk powder so just add hot water.
