What did you last eat?

My wife has been having anxiety spells lately, so after doing some research I
decided to order some kava (root) that is supposed to create a calming, relaxing
sensation. She refused to even open the packet.
It was kind of expensive (40 dollars with tax and shipping for 4oz of brown-gray powder) so- who couldn't
use a little relaxing- I decided to try some, myself. I mixed it into some hot chocolate.

First impression- it tasted awful, like tar mixed with chalk, moldy orange peel and stomach acid.
the inside of my mouth became numb as I drank.
The drinking process was a long, drawn out, and involving gagging.
Maybe I did feel a bit relaxed, but it was faint and brief and left a sour after-taste.

I am considering sprinkling the remainder outside to ward off spiders and bugs.

Wifey stopped at Wendy's before going to work today. Just to order two plain biscuits. Claimed they are lighter than the usual.

I've walked into work with a BK crown once. My boss went to OSU and if I walked in with a BK OSU crown he would crack up and hopefully give me a raise and less work. Yeah right...

Ate a crispy chicken taco, crispy potato taco, rice and beans for lunch. Satisfied. Pinto beans & rice 4Life! Saw the OSU Crown and my wife had to have them. Two of her brothers live in C-Bus.

This has to be a franchisee who doesn't follow the model bc this is def Del Taco pics lol. I just went to the website the menu and food are completely different (in a good way). I may try the one in Hollywood when I go to California in December.

Unfortunately this was a letdown :(
 
Pity, Del Taco closed in our town. Noticed one in Detroit and near the airport. Seemed to thrive on the Poor Side of Town,

This was easily the best BK chicken sammich ever! Huge soft buns..........................plenty of lettuce, and lathered with mayo on both sides of the chicken. Got this in Michigan and had to ask, did they get the Ohio State Crowns? Nah, asked "WonderWhy!"???!!!

After nearly 20 yrs, only have two Cap'n Ds nearby.............................................both 45-46 miles away! Last one locally was serving fried green tomatoes. My grandkids had them, and all three are now in their 20s. Plenty of Cap'n Ds in Carolina BITD!
