oh noes. so now what ? Is someone coming in to repair it ?

I have my chillas batch prepared and frozen, so i just thaw one out with butter, put in a few pieces of paneer, and some black gram (Channa) (also pre-prepared). Then an apple, and a spoon of PB :D

I don't have a microwave, so i would be in a fix if my stove conked off. I do have an oven that is more than 35 years old, and is used as a food-warmer.
Its induction. I think I know what's wrong. I was cleaning my kitchen yesterday and accidentally knocked off some water on the control panel of the stove. If it dries up I don't see an issue. It should start working after I leave it to dry for a few hours. If not, fortunately it being a weekend tomorrow, I can get it repaired. Until then, I guess I will have to survive on outside food.

I love Chillas. I had two chikkoos in the morning. I am not a big fan of apples.

Oh Oh Oh... I am not from this country/religion or the 60s haha. Anyway, if I ever make it rich, I'll eat salmon caviar all day every day!
It was a tradition and I lived a mile from a river so fresh fish was common. Actually, fresh meat was too. Two blocks from a butchers school and poultry market.

I envy you. I mostly grew up scavenging for food scraps in 1980s Moscow. Well, sort of...

I made some fish curry today. I used tilapia, cherry tomatoes, green onion, and potatoes. For the curry, I used curry powder, some ginger & garlic, onion, and some chili powder. Should be good on some white rice I suppose.

I love being a typical Canadian. There's something heavenly about it.

Go ahead, I want you to request a banning on me. I want to see how gutsy you are.

Has nothing to do with guts. Other users like you and if i had a problem i would put you on ignore, selfish otherwise.

You should know by now, i speak to you when i have a problem.

Bacon, sure -- that's what I meant by chef's salad hahaha....

Chef salad has ham. Cobb has bacon, eggs and other stuff. Chicfila makes a really good one.

I don't know about all that, but I am pretty sure standard chef's salad comes with eggs.

Stove problems continued over the weekend. I had to order food from outside, three days in a row. It became too much for my soft tummy yesterday and I threw up twice and did not eat anything after breakfast yesterday. As a result I had a splitting headache and am feeling quite tired. The good news is that I ordered for a new stove and it came in last night. I am back to making my own meals (yayyy) - had a fresh cup of coffee in the morning and making some radish-lentil (with mild spices) stew to go with rice.

I am really craving for a very English type of breakfast morning at home. Will add some juicy gossip and touch some political points. Oh and must talk about weather while drinking some tea. Perhaps this weekend.

What a splendid idea. Just lovely.

Chorizo sausage hot-dog. Chunky chili ketchup, mustard, cucumber relish and crusty onion bites as spicies.
