What else should I demo? All around racket

#1
I need to get back to when I just used the Pure Drive someone handed me and I focused 100% on my strokes.
I don't give a damn about rackets, but need to replace the PD + Poly to be safe.

I liked the TT demo program.
Gonna give it another go.

I have decided against the Phantom line.
Just feels like I am handicapping myself with a floppy racket and floppy Multi strings.

I will stick to 100 sq. inches.
If pros use 100, that's good for me too.
Don't want to handicap myself with a tiny 93 racket.

I think I generate my own power and spin.
I want RA 60-65. Just middle of the road for arm comfort.

I think I prefer 18x20 since the strings will move less.

I guess I just want to try decent all around rackets that are not on any extreme.

I plan to demo the Textreme 100P (2015)
What else ?

Any Yonex, Wilson or Prince.

Possibly consider Babolat, but if you do make sure and try the Team weighted versions of every frame or else you will never truly know what frame is best for you and miss the holy grail that could give you that special edge on the court.

Also consider ProKennex - all of them.

Pros also use 95 and 98 so demo all those sizes as well.

Former PD user that switched happily to Volkl V-Sense 8 315g rackets. Used then with success for a year and the demo’d the Wilson Clash Tour on a whim. If you haven’t tried the Clash or Clash Tour you really should. It may not end up being right for you but for me it got me to the performance of the PD (better than the Volkl VS8) but is oh so comfy. I’ve been using the Clash Tour for over 2 mos now and live that I can just focus on myself and my strokes and not on the dumb racket.

I tried the Head Graphene Touch Radical MP today.
Felt light. 11oz. RA 65
I was hitting well, but might be more stiff than I want to play it safe
You know, I tried the touch speed a few mths ago and hated it. Very tinny and hollow.

But for whatever reason the 360 version feels like a completely different (good) tennis racket. Just got back from carving up a guy 1 and 2 that I lost against earlier in the year.

Prince Tour 100 (310)... u wont look back..forget the RA.. very comfy
Absolutely must demo this one. I can't find any more control with the 100p over it, but unfortunately, the 100p can feel boardy and hard to spin compared to the 16x18 310.

Just be ready to string every 10 days, b/c it munchs mains like crazy!

I don't want to overcompkicate things, but Tw Europe has an oport version of the 310 that is a 16×19 with 8 in the mains that is absolutely ideal for this frame except that I hate oports with an extreme passion.

So my final point is that once this better pattern is combined with the better frame it will be ultimate mic drop time.

+1 for the Clash, it's probably a good idea to demo both the Clash and Clash Tour. Also I don't know if the Pure Drive VS is flexible enough, but it might be worth a try?

Difference between Tour 100 (310) and the TT100P ?

100 310
7 HL
326g
RA 65
16x18

TT100P
7 HL
326g
RA 62
18x20
I wouldnt really be too hung up on specs... yes they are similar but little things make a difference. So main differences in my opinion strictly..
Tt100(310) more stable/solid, Little bit more easy power, same control, bigger sweet spot. Tt100p is a great one as well... but I think 310 is better...comfort is better with tt100(310) for me.. that twaron really works...

How much are you willing to deviate from the 100 sq inch requirement?

The Wilson Ultra Tour could fit the bill for everything you mentioned except the head size at 97 sq inches.

I have been using a 93, and it's mostly fine.

So, I think 97/98/100 are basically all the same.
Just want to avoid extremes like 93 and 107.

I will also demo the Ultra Tour
6 HL
323g
RA 63
18x20

In in with my "middle ground" seeking,
I'm almost thinking to avoid the 18x20 (Hassle to string)
maybe I will go with 16x19. Middle ground.

If you're willing to deviate from the 100 square inches I would maybe also suggest the Blade 98. Technically the RA is higher than your looking for, but I find the newest Blade to play a bit softer than advertised on account of the CV (albeit muted as well).

Give the Beast 100 a swing, too. Little softer PD.

Have used that frame and find it more of a netcrashing doubles type stick as I think it will overhit in extended rallys.

The B 98 is a 64 RA so I guess it fits Ttps parameters well, although I've used that frame extensively and still like the 2019 tours better. (The 2015 tours have a low RA but cheat the system, so I hate them worse than the current Beasts, fwiw)
