What factors determine the power of a tennis racquet, and how are they rated?

What factors determine the power of a tennis racquet, and how are they rated? Are swing weight, stiffness, and string pattern the primary determinants? What is the key factor for power in a tennis racquet: stiffness or swing weight? In scenarios where swing speed and player power remain constant.

This basically answers my consideration between the 2023 Prestige Pro 16x19 or Prestige MPL 16x19 (adding more weight to the MPL to match the Pro will also increase even more power?)

Thank you

There are two key factors:

1. Power Potential of the racket, which mainly is generated by the material (stiffness, reactiveness) of the frame and the string pattern, which generates a trampoline effect. Mostly, the stiffer the frame and the more open the string pattern, the more power it should have.

2. The plow through with sheer mass, where this generates power, but the player needs to put in the work as well. Roughly said here, the higher the static and swingweight, the more the player can get power into the ball.
If this is power potential though, I don't know. You can technically take something like a Pure Aero Team and weight it up to a plow through machine, this is nothing that is unique to a frame.

And the second factor will still decline if the weight gets higher, but the swing and power stay constant. You would need higher swing power to use a higher plow through ;)

Maybe one of the guys from TW University ( Wolf man) might be able to put a rating on each of the variables.
My view is that the variables and their ratings will skew towards the type of player you are and the shots you are measuring. I know for example that when I use the Yonex Percept H, I get I get a lot of power in my groundstrokes so the mass combined with the balance and SW will be a big factor.
For serving I thing the stiff Volkl SG 7 2945 with its 104 head and 73 RA strung in gut will win most serving competitions. It’s easier to serve with than the Percept because it’s lighter and the stiffness helps;
