Thanks for posting the stats. I don't really keep up with all these numbers. Nevertheless, I always thought Fed has maintained himself in the striking distance in regard to Rafa and Djoker the last 2 years. In my biaised opinion, Fed improves some aspects of his game too, and some of his conditioning. Not really sure if I bought into his statement that he's better now than 5 years ago. Perhaps some grains of truth though: tactic, strategy-wise, choice of shots depending on the moments, transition between defense and offense, etc.
Regardless of what he did, the fact he just Wimby was just amazing. He may be the only one believing in his own chance in the last few years! A lot of people already put him in a retirement rocking chair by the fireplace!
