Djokovic is currently dominating the tour in way that no one ever has, including Federer and Nadal. That being said, the pressure for Djokovic at this year's French Open will be immense. What Grand Slam's do you think Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic entered feeling the most pressure?

Federer
2006 French Open - Win 4th consecutive Grand Slam
2007 Wimbledon - Tie Borg for 5 consecutive championships.
2008 Wimbledon - Hold off Nadal from keep his throne
2009 Wimbledon - Break Grand Slam record

Nadal
2008 US Open - trying to become first player since Laver in 1969 to win French Open, Wimbledon, US Open in same year
2011 Australian Open - trying to win 4th consecutive Grand Slam
2015 French Open - determined to prove that his slump could be turned around at "his tournament"

Djokovic
2012 French Open - trying to win 4th consecutive Grand Slam
2015 French Open - trying to win French Open for the 1st time
2016 French Open - trying to win French Open for the 1st time

Not sure how you could miss out FO 2009 for Federer. When Nadal went out Federer had a huge amount of pressure and expectation on his shoulders.

True, but Federer didn't enter the tournament as the favorite. It was only midway through the tournament. But, yes, there was incredible pressure on Federer after Nadal lost.

Federer 09 Aussie - Rafa had conquered him on grass, he had to hold here to prevent a complete loss of control

Nadal - 08 Wimbledon, two time runner up in consecutive years, could he finally end Federers stranglehold?

Djokovic - 2014 Wimbledon. Disappointment over the last year and a half, was his time over?

Interesting answer, and you are probably right...

if he lost that final, especially after blowing the 4th set, it would be hard to imagine where he would go from there. Considering how much mental strength and reslience he's shown at times (particularly in putting French open losses behind him), maybe I'm wrong. But at that point, it would have been 6 slams since his AO 13 win, and in 4 of those he would have lost in the final and a 5th was the defacto final RG 13 semi loss.

I dont know if losing that final would have ruined him, but I am sure winning that final was the catalyst that led to him really getting back on track after falling a bit below expectations most of that 2012-2014 period. Despite what happened at the U.S Open. The belief in himself , imparticular in the big matches, came fully back that day.
