What happened to Aaron Krickstein?

Krickstein's FH was super-reliable and quite powerful, though not very top echelon IMO.

Early on he used a Wilson "standard" head size (can't remember the name right now)
that had to be the stiffest racquet on the planet Earth.. kudos to him. I used the 85
version of that racquet for a (very) short time.

I still remember the Tennis Magazine issue with him on the cover with the title "The kid with the killer forehand".

wasn't he, along w arias, one of the first 'modern western' forehands on tour? maybe that gave people some trouble early on? can't remember for sure.

Back in the ‘90s, I still thought of pros who played a style like Krickstein as junior pros, and pros that played S&V as adult pros.

Not sure why you thought that! There were baseliners who hit with varying degrees of power, and serve and volleyers.

Not sure either. To me Krickstein was a full Western and Arias was a semi-western, but corrections are welcome.
