When I search for tennis courts in Google Map, there are no tennis courts found in North Korea, and plenty of them in South Korea.

I wonder why the Democratic People's Republic of Korea wouldn't allow tennis courts to be easily and democratically accesible.

on a nearby island of the taedong river, it almost looks like they drew lines in the middle of an (unused anymore?) parking lot...

... and same thing at a previous location on the same island?

Once and for all,, i am going to tell you what Really goes on in North korea. I don't want to call general americans that doesn't understand ignorant but if you think there is any kind of freedom in that country, you are mistaken. It is a complete dictator run Slave state. You have no choice on what you will be doing when you become adult.. Only one thing is clear in that country,, you are going to join the military and you will always be military men who are ready to wage war on South korea. There is No possiblity of Tennis or anything else unless the dictator saids you will do that.
All citizen are completely cutoff from outside world ,, they only know what the dictator tells them thru propaganda TV. mainly south korea is this Evil corrupted state that is immoral. and they teach the same about USA since US is allie of south korea. and that ALL they know.

So what do you think is the chance of great tennis player coming out of there ?

So what do you think is the chance of you getting the joke here?

I saw a tennis court in the NK capital when I was there a few years ago. Also the local newspaper had a long article (obviously propaganda) about a player who spent hours on the court practising each day .. I must look for it and can post it later.

Kim Jong-Un is actually the GOAT tennis player. He was born with a golden racket in his hand and served 160 mph at just 5 years old. In a series of secret exhibitions he golden bagelled Federer on grass, Nadal on clay, and Djokovic on hard court.

But he did lose 1 point to Murray on grass (it was a netcord winner). Thus the Great Leader conferred upon Andy his new title: MuryGOAT.
