What Head Prestige is Best?

I was looking at getting into either a Head Prestige liquidmetal or Head Prestige Classic 600. For all you Prestige guys, what are the differences in terms of playability? Which one feels nicer? And does one have better plowthrough, feel, touch, flex etc.? I other words, what one would you buy If you could only have one? Thoughts?

Well I am selling my PC600, but all bias aside, it was the best one in terms of feel touch and flex.

I really enjoyed it, and as a classic stick, it is one of the best ever IMO. I simply needed to sell some racquets or I would keep it.

In that case, don't get the LM Prestige. Very stiff and tinny feeling for a Prestige kind of racquet.
I never played with the classic Prestiges before, so I can't put my input into those. I owned a Flexpoint Prestige for a while, and I loved it. It's so flexible in the hoop, which is pretty hard to find in racquets nowadays. I felt like I can go crazy with that racquet, and the ball would still be in the court. Solid feeling, and it was actually a bit forgiving for me (can't really handle Prestige weight).

PC600 is miles better than the LM if those are the only two that you are comparing. The i.Prestige is really the last of the great prestiges and I love the one that I have.

PT600 , Pc600 and i.Prestiges are my favorites. the LM and YT versions feel too harsh IMO.
PT10s i.e. the pro stock version of PC600/ PT600 are the best. I own a total of 5 these , may sell 2 or 3 for need of cash soon though...:(

Out of all of them, I'd say the Liquidmetal is the worst. Original Prestige Pro (c. 1986-1988 ) the best. All the others variably in-between.

Any one of them prior to the iPrestige in my opinion. I thought the iPrestige turned it into a brick in terms of feel. Microgel is the only recent one I liked, but doesn't have the precise feel of the old ones.

A (previously) Head sponsored friend of mine was the biggest Prestige fanatic you could ever imagine. He had them all and would have killed his mother if you threatened to take away his original brown Prestige Pros. From what I remember, he hated the FlexPoint and didn't much care for the MicroGel. Don't know if he's used the YouTek or not - he switched to a Topspin frame that he is very happy with now.

The red-brown 2nd gen Prestige Pro 600 for me. The original all brown and TX Professional has that same wonderful feel, but it is the slightly more headlight balance of the red-brown that suits me perfectly.

Make your life easy, you can buy new lm prestige for around $100 and ignore all other versions.

I wish I never tried all the prestige model, and the last time I count I have about 60 austrian prestige mid.

I suggest you settle with one model and customize according to your need, enjoy it and save money.

Hmm... all I can say is that Migrogel Prestige Mid is almost identical to YT Prestige Mid... YT feels a tad more solid.

If any of those are i.Prestige with hard paint and in cherry condition and you want to unload them, let me know.

The LM prestige mid is one of the worst rackets I have ever used.

PC600 is the best in terms of that buttery, smooth prestige feel. I think the flexpoint is underrated though. Obviously nothing like the pc600, but it is still a solid frame with a nice, crisp feel.

Of all the Prestiges that I have used -- TXP, PC600 (3 different versions), Prestige 600, Microgel Prestige Mid, I like the PC600, Trek Font Version, the best. However, all others are just as buttery. You can't go wrong with any of them.

is the LM version that bad? Because I'm choosing between youtek or LM.
Thanks:)
I have never played with the LM Prestige mid. The spec seems fine to me:

93 sq. in. / 600 sq. cm.
Length: 27 inches / 69 cm
Strung Weight: 12.3oz / 349g
Balance: 7pts Head Light
Swingweight: 340
Stiffness: 61
Beam Width: 19 mm Straight Beam
Composition: LiquidMetal Titanium / Graphite and Piezzo Electric Fibers

Spec was fine, but it was a HORRIBLE racket.

It wasn't maneuverable, it wasn't stable, the sweetspot... well it didnt have one. I take back my previous statement though. This without a doubt is the worst racket of all time.

sorry  I forgot to mention I was talking about the midplus, or maybe is same for midplus too? If LM is really the worst, I will get the youtek one then
Thanks :)

I played the LM Prestige (mid) for a while - remember it to be a nice stick.

Just started hitting with my Flexpoint Prestige - feels great with 17 gauge RPM Blast - while my Microgel Prestige is at the stringer.

Between just those two, the YT by far is the better frame. I don't understand how they just flat out got the LM Prestige so wrong. The LM Radical was not nearly as bad.

I absolutely agree. The LM Radical was a great frame. It's the one that I recommend to my students who play but can't afford a newer frame because it is a great frame and cheap.

The LM Prestige by comparison was just dreadful.
