What if Nishikori dropped Chang next year?

What if Nishikori dropped Chang from his coaching team for some odd/any reason and then added Agassi and Gil Reyes on his team. With Gil's physical training resume and Agassi's tactics would it make a good team? Would it change Kei's game in anyway? I think it would be great for his physical side of things. Bored so just made one up real quick.

Well Chang won RG and clay seems to be Kei's best surface, so I think they're a good pair. With Chang's experience on clay, he might lead him to the RG title. Maybe he'll be the one to troll Djokovic next year in the final and snatch the title away. ;)

Well Agassi was good on clay as well. He reached 3 RG finals and won 1. He knows a thing or two about clay as well;)

True, but Agassi was never a clay specialist. Granted, Chang wasn't exactly a clay specialist either but it was probably his best surface. Agassi's game was built for hardcourts, even though he was great on clay.

Agassi would be a great coach, since Kei plays similar offensive baseline tennis.

But what Kei really needs is a better physio. Somebody who can help keep him injury free. Maybe have a look at federer and nole and figure out how they did it.

Never seem Agassi as a coach, he's f'ed up and has less empathy with people than Connors. Wouldn't be good team. Chang played a smarter game than Agassi through most of there careers. Nothing to gain only a lot to lose. Gils does not bring anything special to the game, his benefit was he could communicate with the talented stoner, it was more to do with Agassi and his mental state.

Wasn't Gil was Agassi trainer/Physio during the time he played?

Yes, and they're still affiliated with their weight lifting equipment which Andre markets in the USA.

Agassi will not coach, nor will Sampras. They both have answered this question many times. Neither have the slightest interest in coaching others. Neither Pete or Andre even taught their respective kids tennis!

Pete did insisted he would like to help but not coach. Like shed a little light into the game.
