We have, in my opinion, two possible scenarios.

Only two assumptions:
-Tour will resume June 8.
-No tournaments aside from Roland Garros will be postponed. All other tournaments in freeze period will be canceled.

I calculated rankings only for current top 8. Some player can, obviously, leap above some of the players below(Or, in race, they are already above).

Scenario #1 - ATP decides to drop off all points from canceled tournaments and Roland Garros as soon as rankings will be unfrozen.
We have current race, but ranking will be modified.

ATP Ranking:
1) Djokovic: 10.220 - 2.635 = 7.585
2) Nadal: 9.850 - 4.260 = 5.590
3) Medvedev: 5.890 - 825 = 5.065
4) Thiem: 7.045 - 2.720 = 4.325
5) Federer: 6.630 - 2.680 = 3.950
6) Tsitsipas: 4.745 - 1.400 = 3.345
7) Zverev: 3.630 - 945 = 2.685
8) Berrettini: 2.860 - 680 = 2.180

ATP Race:
1) Djokovic: 3.165
2) Thiem: 1.355
3) Nadal: 1.110
4) Zverev: 765
5) Tsitsipas: 760
6) Federer: 720
7) Medvedev: 480
8) Berrettini 45

Scenario #2 - ATP decides to drop off tournament's points when a new edition of that tournament is played.
We have current ranking. But points from all tournaments aside from Roland Garros(That will be played in 2020) would be added to the race.

ATP Ranking:
1) Djokovic: 10.220
2) Nadal: 9.850
3) Thiem: 7.045
4) Federer: 6.630
5) Medvedev: 5.890
6) Tsitsipas: 4.745
7) Zverev: 3.630
8) Berrettini: 2.860

ATP Race:
1) Djokovic: 3.165 + 1.915 = 5.080
2) Nadal: 1.110 + 2.260 = 3.360
3) Thiem: 1.355 + 1.970 = 3.325
4) Federer: 720 + 1.960 = 2.680
5) Tsitsipas: 760 + 1.310 = 2.070
6) Zverev: 765 + 650 = 1.415
7) Medvedev: 480 + 815 = 1.295
8) Berrettini: 45 + 690 = 735

Furthermore, if ATP decides to continue to count weeks at number 1, Djokovic will add 12 weeks, going from 282 to 294.

Which scenario do you prefer?

If the rankings are frozen how can weeks at no. 1 be counted... Therefore they wont be, whenever tour resumes it will resume with current positions. And freezing it means they wont be cancelling points.

I don't agree on both your statements.

About weeks#1, we have ranking frozen, so it doesn't change, but we have a ranking, so we have a #1. It's uncorrect to say there isn't a #1 today. There is and it's Djokovic.
When a slam is played we don't have a new ranking for two weeks and 2 weeks#1 are awarded to the player who is #1 before the slam. So if we don't have a new ranking for X weeks after 16 March, I think X weeks#1 have to be awarded to the player who was #1 at 16 March.

About points: freezing means they won't cancelling points, I agree. But when they unfreeze the ranking, when they have to cancel points? Really, I have no idea. I would had preferred they would let the ranking work, so I prefer to cancel points as soon as they unfreeze ranking. I feel no-sense that tournaments played in 2019 counts in order to qualify for the 2020 ATP Finals.
