What if someone’s entire knowledge of tennis comes from TTW?

Think about it.

If someone knew nothing about tennis before reading TTW poasts for about a month, what would they think about the sport after this surreal experience? What would be the best part of the sport and what would be the worst part of the sport, just based on this secondhand impression alone?

I do wonder whose side out of Big3 would this person choose. Depends on the year I guess. GPPD was in garbage state when I joined TTW, occupied by countless toxic Federer gloryhunters, and it was the end of 2018, scary to imagine what it looked like somewhere mid 2017. Much better nowadays though as a lot of pro-Fed lunatics got banned/left the forum/used rope.

Getting so much better! This year it’s been a quite big drop of. After USO19.... just 8-B:p:love: Bg difference to 2 years ago.

We would be able to summarise this person's knowledge in a few words: Fedr, no?, humbleness, moral victor, devotee, courts' speed is too slow and talent equals net play and nothing else.

Seems accurate.

There are like 3 ppl in this section who post in tips and instruction. I dont see a ton of people here who even play, much less be knowledgable about the game. Aside from google searches and wiki

Seems hard to believe that anyone would join TTW without knowing something about tennis first!
I will say if I had not been following tennis 20+ years when I joined, I would have a different take on things. Many of my opinions and perceptions coming in to TTW were very different then this landscape. I never knew many of these takes were either serious or as prevelant in the minds of tennis fans.
