Cool. I'm of Italian heritage and I like pasta and my Dad worked in "construction".
Nice haha. I guess we do fit the norms set by our heritage.
Change Rochester, MN to Rochester, NY and I'd be asking if I played against/with you in college...
Matt, when I was a little kid, like 7th grade, my bro in 10th, and my 5'5" x 140lbs dad, we ordered 13 bowls of Wor Won Ton for lunch on a Sunday, just the 3 of us.
When I was a little kid I called up restaurants asking for a tall glass of legs.
I needed a break today (McDonalds was not an option), happened on this thread....many chuckles later I am at the end. Thank you.
I Hop's steak omelete was actually worth the $10.75 tag. Came with 3 middlin pancakes too.
What's a 4.5?
Combine a 3.5 with a bullshlt artist and you have a 4.5 .
What's a 4.5?
Combine a 3.5 with a bullshlt artist and you have a 4.5 named LeeD.
Most of the top tier 4.5 players in my section get much more strange sex than 3.5 players. The 3.5 guys are slow and somewhat unsexy.
Funny how lots of guys chime in on the bandwagon to diss LeeD.
Funnier how none of the guys who have seen me play say anything negative about my game.
We all know Dedan's a true idiot, with nothing positive to ever add to any threads. Can we conclude he also doesn't really play tennis, since he never is positive, but always negative?
Tennis is a fun sport, nobody always negative can really play tennis, can they?
LeeD, do you know what ever happened to Tao Tao's, one of the best of the SF Chinatown restaurants in the 60s? On Grant Ave.
I've eaten there a few times as a youngster, never once full grown. Was kinda expensive, red linen, waitresses in tight side slit dresses, waiter's black pants, white shirts.
I wonder if it's still there? I haven't really looked in 30 years.
I was eating at some place down Jackson St. when the big shooting happenned at the GoldenDragon, me a night taxi driver at the time on lunch break. I left quickly, thinking only of making money to buy a new 1981 Kawasaki KX420.
Oh, should mention, when I was there, it was in the early '60's, possibly late '50's, so that was a while ago.
I'm a 4.5 and played some games with M Larcher De Brito recently, it was about even but she won. I think I move a little better and quicker but she definitely hits the ball better.
Did she grunt really loud when you played her?
Whoa, come down off the ledge there my emotional little man...haha~!. First off, what's with the personal attack? I made NO mention of YOU whatsoever and if you could take a step back you'd see my post was a general joke about people over-inflating their NTRP ratings, i.e. it's not always about you Lee. Get it?
"Never positive, always negative?" The percentage of my posts that are humorous in nature (however irreverant) far exceed most here given that I don't take myself (nor you) soooo serrrrriously. While I call out (and mock) fanboy trolls, don't lose sight of that distinction. Now (the funny part): as far as "does not play tennis" goes, while the Internet is hardly the place to settle anything, if you're not more than a 4.5, you're out of your league with that comment my friend...assuredly so...
In summary, your butthurt animus is unfounded and your conclusions masquarading as *logic* doesn't fly. You're crying up the wrong tree Lee-D.
I guess that includes Guillermo Alcorta. I've seen him play a few times and....he's kinda good.
I don't hate white people either, I just don't want my girlfriend bringing them to my matches.
What is a 2.5?
Slightly below the average Engineering GPA at UCLA (2.7)
Haha my degree graduated with an average of 2.6 our dropout rate was 80+% Good luck my friend.
And to make a really bad tasteless joke....
A 4.5 is usually about 200+, but with a few beers who knows?
I consider 4.5 ex college players.
You're your own worst enemy.
I remember when you would post about currently being a 3.5 (due to aging); then a lot of posts popped up about 'what level is this?' and magically you were up to a 4.0 - and then added all the tales of past greatness - when there were about 1500 people on the planet who even played the game (outside of the country clubs). Dinosaur attacks were still talked about...
LeeD would have annihilated Peanut Louie if he had the right coach and modern equipment.
