What is a good sunscreen?

This for me is a very interesting topic... I’m quite picky abt my sunscreen... I have switched from neutrogena spray, Badger, aveeno, and currently I’m on blue lizard. I’m trying to find something that isn’t very oily/ greasy (blue lizard), something that doesn’t stain clothes(neutrogena), and one that doesn’t make you look like a ghost(aveene)... do you guys have any suggestions? Sunscreen is very important to me as where I live the UV index is really high. Price matters but I believe that your gonna spend less money on sunscreen than on treatment for skin cancer... so please if you all have any suggestions please let me know! Thanks!

Get and use a sun screen hat in addition to using sun screen. Anything above SPF 30 is OK since you are suppose to reapply if you stay out in direct sunlight. If I have the chance, I will ask a vampirish lady I know. :eek:o_O:alien:

I like physical coverage(hate/long sleeve shirt etc)...then use Japanese sunscreen. If you are going to sweat I like Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence. If you aren't sweating/getting wet I like Nivea Super Sun Protect Water Gel.

I use Target mineral zinc oxide 50. Sure I look like a ghost while playing but who cares lol... I stay away from the organic varieties because they can mess up your hormones.

I honestly don’t look at the ingredients but I’m very fair skinned and burn easily. My college friends still look at me and say, “Look at the f-ing tomato man!” which was yelled at me in my college days while on spring break in Texas. I deserved it too.

I use any of the SPORT varieties whether it’s Coppertone or Walmart and it’s perfect for me. I started using it while golfing and I was able to hold onto my golf clubs. It’s only greasy for the first moments or so and then I don’t notice it at all. The thing I do notice is I’m not a f-ing tomato after hours in the sun.

blue lizard is great. Goes on a little thick and hazy but it works really well. All the spray on stuff is garbage in my opinion.

Well,

Since anyone here will be the correct audience, this report is worth sharing.

Link,

TLDR; being a big brand is no guarantee of quality/safety (Neutrogena is the big loser here).

This is the one. Start first by using something that is environmentally / reef safe and then choose your SPF and whatever else is you criteria for a quality product.

Trader Joe's makes the best sunscreen, and now they have 2 versions, one zinc oxide and one regular high Def full spectrum awesomeness around 6 bucks best deal

Wow, I'm picky about sunscreen too. Lately I've been using Hawaiian Tropic and really like it, but now am realizing maybe that's what's been ruining my fancy new pillow cases? =(
