What is a popular racquet you love or hate and why?

Everyone has a different in style and preference. Therefore, some racquets will work for you and others wont. Doesn't matter if someone is better or not.
So with that out of the way...I am curious

What racquets do you see around often that you love or hate and why? At the higher levels, I see many Blades and many Babolat APD or Pure Drives. I don't feel as though I consistently see much else.
Personally not a fan of the APD. I think it's overly stiff and it's beam width is obnoxious. But there are quite a few pretty high level players I know that use it.

I'm around a 4.5/5.0 and starting to prefer more weight and flex in a racquet.

Pure Strike. Thought it would be an arm friendly alternative to the PD and PA and it was by far the harshest "control" racquet i demo'd.

Pure Control! Everything else sacrificed for purity of control.

Yeah it's alright but kind of a classic point and shoot racquet. I think they feel so gimmicky.

FWIW... The college coach I hit with a while back, that had me hit with his Presitge, and moved me off of the PDT, has hit with my Strike 18x20, and though he is also a self professed Babolat hater, he says he likes my racquet. Might partly be the strings, VS Team x Alu Power...

I can not stand the Pro Staff 97 line. I have hit with Wilson all my and loved the six one 95. I then moved to the PS six one 95 and have been playing with it for 5 years and wanted something else so i demoed the RF and standard 97 and they were way to powerful so I settled on the Burn 100. Im thinking of trying the Dunlop 95. Maybe when I'm 60 I will try the Pro Staff again.

I don't see why anyone would ever hate any racket. It's beyond me.

I love the Wilson Pro Staff 95 18x20. Played all the versions and now I have stopped at Wilson Pro Staff 6.1 si Stretch, 95 sq. inch, 18x20 string pattern and 28 inch long. I love it!
