What is one match you missed that you wished you would have watched LIVE?

A match that you either could have seen if you had arranged for it, or were busy at work: which sticks out?

For me: 2014 Australian Open QF between Wawrinka and Djokovic. Time zone was the restraint (I could have watched it if I chose to wake up early, but didn't know it would be so good).

Highlights looked phenomenal. Furthermore, I really enjoyed the resilience aspect of the story since Stan had a heartbreaking loss at the 2013 AO to Djoker, and then won in a pulsating fashion, 9-7 in the 5th (makes it all the more sweeter to win that way compared to winning in 3-4 sets).

One of the chilean fans screamed an obscenity when Federer won a great point. Poor Gonzalez, he was hot that tournament and run against a even hotter player like Roger

Federer vs Nadal - Wimbledon 2008 Finals

One of the most exhilarating major finals of the modern era, and also one of the best tennis matches of all time.

2007 (?) Wimbledon, Gasquet v. Roddick. I was/am massive fan of both, and while patriotism generally wins out for me, I was split on who I wanted to win.

I had friends over at the pool and the match on inside, so whenever I came in I caught bits and pieces. The way Richie pulled it out, I just wonder how I would've been reacting had I sat through the whole thing

I would assume Wimbledon 2008 F wins this if there was a poll :)

I think this would be for people who didn't watch it on TV though (i.e., this thread isn't considering matches you wished you would have watched 'live' in person, but rather 'live' on TV, where you could have watched it but just didn't). Some didn't, but I feel a lot of people on this forum had watched that final live on TV since it was the Wimbledon final.

Another one that comes to mind was the Federer Wawrinka WTF SF last year. Such a pulsating way for Fed to win by saving 4 match points. I didn't catch it, but was prepared to watch the final, before Federer had to withdraw :/

2007 Wimbledon or 2014 Wimbledon Final.

2011 FO Semifinal Fedjok or 2013 AO R16 Wawadjok

2008 SW19 Final.....can't bear to watch. The only match that brought me to tears....because of the tension and investment.

Bought a DVD in 2009....and haven't watch it.

Wimbledon 2008 final. I couldn't even watch it on TV as I had to fly to London from Zurich that day. I saw the first 5 games. Nadal was serving better than in 2007 final, so I was confident he would win. I had no idea it was gonna be such a great final.

Oh ok then. I perhaps mistook it.
